Mine was The Warning.
I still remember the day I saw the article on YahooNews or something "Mariah Carey Smash Single A Diss At Eminem?" I didn't have any internet connection prior to that, so I was understandably lost, and confused. How the hell does Mariah diss Eminem? It didn't compute. And I'd heard about his addiction and weight gain and thought she was going at my dude when he was down.
I was fucking furious, probably the angriest I've been over something that didn't concern me. I raeged hard.
Then my White Gawd Eminem rose like a phoenix from the ashes, spitting blistering flame upon Mariah and anybody dat luv 'er. It was glorious.
Stan mode was on permanently after that.

FUCK THAT NOISE. No pop boy band will ever be what they were. I could literally walk up to anyone on the street, say BYE BYE BYE and they'll know right away what I'm talking about.

Exactly, though Nsync and Backstreet Boys...I dare say BSB was bigger than Nsync. haha yeah 1 Direction could NEVER reach any boy group from the 90s - with Nsync and BSB it was like album after album, hits after hit - 1 Direction - I know ONE song and that is their first one. It also might have something to do with the fact that all members of NSync and BSB could actually sing .

i think i was around the year 2000, my uncle had this cd (mmlp) when i was away with him on the truck, he put the cd in because he thought i would like and damn yes i did. From that day on i was sold. Several weeks later i died my hair blonde and, wanted everything that Eminem had, every peace of clothing, shoes you name it. The stan in me kept growing, especially wen i went to his Anger Management tour in Amsterdam. Those were the days i reached my peak. But between then and now i never missed a day without listening to Eminem. The guy is amazing!

I've reached so many peaks tbh. I'd have to say when recovery leaked and everyone was uploading the tracks on to youtube and I converted them to mp3s and put them on my mp3 player. The album leaked about 4am where I lived but I went out and listened to them but my brain still really couldn't comprehend I was now listening to these new songs.

4Corners, glad someone else here lived through his prime. I was 12 when MMLP dropped and it was EVERYWHERE.

It was definitely when the Chronic:2001 came out. I remember listening to it in my dad's car and hearing Em on What's the Difference and then Forgot About Dre. We were both like, who the hell is guy?

Then about a couple of months later, I remember hearing Real Slim Shady(I think) and I just ended up buying MMLP.

But then Relapse came out, and I started to become less interested in Em.

My peak was when I saw him two weeks ago at Pukkelpop. It was like a dream coming true. :flutter:

I think I haven't reached a peak yet.
It may be when MMLP 2 will drop. Or it may not be it. I don't know.
But there was a period of time, like one year ago, basically when I joined the forum, where I only listened to Em and nothing else. I'm past that but I'm still a HUUGE Stan.
Strange thing is that I started listening to Em in early 2010 and I became a fan right after Hell: The Sequel dropped.
And before 2009 circa I pretty much hated rap and I had heard Em's name two or three times.
Now I consider myself a Hip Hop head.

First time heard Eminem in 2003, How Come on the radio

2nd time was in 2005, watched When I'm Gone music video on mtv, then I got introduced to Eminem. I knew fifty from Candy Shop era. But started to grow towards Eminem more. I understood every word, every line, all the emotions behind the song. Made sense, listened to more tracks, knew this guy was a poet. Download all songs, listened to all, still mesmerized. THen 4 years of waiting. Was very excited until I heard Relapse which was :tounge2:
