Humans speak in metaphors, more than they use literalness. Far more.

This term has become a metaphor.

There can be two GOATS, just like someone can be 'boss' without literally being a boss...

A GOAT... the term has evolved from its literalness and used to imply anybody of top-tier quality who could be considered the 'greatest'... and if a term becomes broadly used by a majority of people to imply a metaphor... it's pointless harping back to or trying to define it liter-ally...

Since it's no longer used as that. Words and terms are just concepts, the word or a term doesn't have to absolutely pin-point literally or unable to be used metaphorically... if this were the case... there's by no poetry, no storytelling, no fiction, and barely any kind of communication between us.
