Is Berserk the "We Made You" of MMLP2

i don't agree that the diff between WMY and Relapse was 'phenom' first of all...

In fact... along wit "Without Me"... I'd say "We Made You" was one of the most fitting singles to an Eminem album... I don't really dislike anything about it... except for the vid...

The rapping is awesome and I think sums up Relapse perfectly yo.

Berzerk is different - which I suspect is intentional. Marking a new era.

It's not like any of Em's previous 'first singles' - it's not like his 'comedic' singles, nor is it like his "serious" single 'Not Afraid'. In fact, it's quite different from any previous Eminem single.

Even if you don’t like the ‘Berzerk’, you can't really say; "Recovery 2" or "Relapse 2" or w/e. This is MMLP2 Em.

Yeah, this new Eminem song that came with the album announcement, came out August 27 on iTunes and is getting a music video any day now surely isn't the lead single.

I have to hand it to him though, he sounds like he is 25 again in that song. That's not bad. I mean, I like Relapse, but if he attempted something SSLP-ish with it, he failed. But I kind of doubt that anyway, though.

The concept was supposed to be him in a twisted slap-happy mindstate kind of forcing women to be with him any way, hence him shoving them in to a wood chipper in the video...

The music and the uptempo vibe is just to make it catchy... but I focus on raps.

Completely sums it up. It's lighter, it's less brutal... but that's what summing up should be, it's not really 'very dark' or 'very light', it's concise, somewhere between the two.

The thoughts are broader and less repulsive, but they imply the same things.

We Made You really aims to show how the pop-industry that Em (reluctantly) flourishes in has made him the way he is.

It has some Relapse themes running throughout, but it is definitely a lot lighter than the album. Obviously its closest album comparison track would be SS&D

In berzerk Em profecises that he is returning hip hop to its routes. So it may well reflect some of the MMLP2's themes.
