Who's taking the L:s here though? If anything, Em is winning - free publicity/promo.

Confused people and biased/uninformed/ignornant websites are taking the L:s tbh.

Rational Eminem fans should know what's up, and be able to laugh at all the confusion.

It's really not that hard.

Em is trying to come across as the unpredictable, controversial guy he used to be. Same reason he's gone back to blonde. So he came on the telecast and acted like a dickhead for a laugh. He knew how it would be portrayed, and he wants that.

You guys honestly expected the media not to have a field day on this? This is what they do. It's what sells papers. Celebrities acting in a way that's not normal.

Eminem would be rapt with the attention this has gotten.

You can try and learn as much from Em as you like from the various media outlets which allow you to assess him. Consider the fundamental fact though that you are always basing your character judgement from such media outlets, and thus your assessment is already warped to infinity.

Eminem has put himself across as being an introvert, using comedy to hide any shyness, but we cannot use this narrow lens to try and judge his character. We have never met the guy.
You are all failing to realise that the MMLP2 marketing campaign has been just that: one massive marketing campaign. A business move.

Does Em actually want to dye his hair? No. Probably not. Everything he seems to be doing at the moment is for a marketing purpose. I can't even judge if he wanted to make this album, or whether interscope just told him to do it.

Jimmy Conway is making a very valid point, which some sad people are trying to invalidate because it breaches their emotional connection to Eminem. Pathetic.

Exactly. People want to relate to him so bad that anything that goes against their mindset towards him hurts their Stan boners.

People like viewing Em as this broken man because that's what they are. And while he has his problems, he has a great life.
