Well, first-week [album-] sales are usually quite skewed towards the first day (+ pre-orders) of release. The distribution of sales could arguably be compared to a chi-square distribution with a fat tale. That is to say, even if this Interscope/Activision venture only lasts for a day, it could still be very effective.

I know people will disagree with me on this, but if Drug Ballad got released promotionally back in the day...and someone described MMLP to me...I would say that song wouldn't fit with the "theme". If it isn't there..cool. If it is, I'm sure it has its place.

I disagree, even though Drug Ballad wasn't dark, it still fit the overall sound, even TRSS as well, not as much though.

If we can say on Nov. 5th that Survival had its place on MMLP2, Idk if I'll like that.

I understand what you're saying, but the idea that this album (that we know almost nothing about) could be a "flop" if this song is on it....is absurd. It doesn't fit on MMLP is all we know. Everyone is assuming MMLP2 is going to sound exactly the same, and therefor we know for sure that this doesn't fit on the album. It's a reach imo. Just chill out and be positive until you have reason to feel otherwise.

No, def. not a flop if this is on it. I just can't see Em calling the album MMLP2, whether that means it sounds identical to the first one, or pays homage to old school hip hop, or is him trying to be himself again, and survival making that cut.

Just my opinion, I'm actually very positive, I think this will be at the least Em's 4th best album.

Mhmm. Remember, WT:OH had 4 deluxe songs. So two different MMLP2 deluxes making up 4 songs isn't out of the question.

I don't understand why they'd talk about Survival if it's already going to be part of the album. So that, to me, makes it seem like it'll be a bonus. But I don't give a fuck in any way, shape, or form, if the track is on the main album or not.
I want a fucking bonus disc, not a bunch of iTunes and digital bonus tracks, by the way.

Yeah, I like having the physical CDs as well.
