Kill You wrote:Why do you like Jay-Z's new album but think Em's new material is trash...lol that makes no sense. MCHG is SOOOO much worse than his other albums, the quality drop is incredibly high, higher than fuckin' Eminem's, and yet you praise it. Makes no goddamn sense. It really doesn't. Dislike Eminem, fine, I don't fuckin' care. You haven't liked Eminem since I've been on this forum so not like I knew you to ever like him except by what you've told everyone. I just find it really fucking strange that you think Eminem sucks now because the music quality dropped when the same fuckin' thing happened to Jay-Z. Like Blueprint 3, fucking terrible terrible album. And MCHG is fucking stale as shit, good production and that's it. Hardly makes Jay a better rapper lol.

Please explain this to me Class. I'm dying to peer into your head for just a second.

I already had a long post that explained why it was good. I'm not typing it up again.

@SWW If nobody had heard his first three albums then I wouldn't be so harsh because people wouldn't be praising it nearly as much. If Relapse was his first album and it was just some random rapper nobody would give a shit about it and I wouldn't have to respond to all the stans. It wouldn't change my opinion tho that album is shit

But you all judge him as a rapper lol. It's clear that the music is different, but the rapper really isn't too different. That's the point. You all think Eminem can't write like he used to, lmao, it was because he chose not to and he wanted to reach out and stop producing. If he produced all his shit we would see a major leap in quality.

Pretty much lol. There is a difference, there's no denying it. It's just the mindstate that people are in. They need to get out of it and move the fuck on.

I don't hear it, and never have.

That being said, every artist hits their peak and is not stellar 24/7.

I'll always compare albums. I think with anything you need to understand an artist when they made the album more than anything. his first 3 were such a different time period in his life than now. Idk hard to explain, i understand comparing, but do it with their life in mind, not the artist in general.

Members like MikeNUFC, Amadeo, dead prez, Insider have always praised Deja Vu.

Hell isn't it Accor's top-rated Eminem song?

So it doesn't seem to be the case with intelligent members, although I can see how it would happen slightly.

At the end of the day though 98-02 Em >> and we ain't being biased, lol.

But people who say they don't like it because it's not as good as his first 3 albums, well that's just ridiculous.

:facepalm That's not ridiculous at all, lol.

Tell me how it's not, don't fuckin' facepalm me. It's people shunning his new shit because they don't feel it's on-par with his old shit. That's not fair. When it's kind of not true. It's the music itself that is the main change, as his production has expanded. He's had to adapt to a new generation of shitty hip hop fans. 2000 Em wouldn't survive.

Like really, if you came into the fold late like me and Basedshady did then you guys really wouldn't overrate his first three as much as you all do. They are overrated for good reason, they are classics, but I rate Relapse and even Recovery over SSLP myself because I'm not biased towards old Em. I am biased towards Eminem, period.

At the end of the day, it's opinion.

And do you think I give a shit what Amadeo, that douchebag MikeNUFC, the overrated as fuck dead prez, and that idiot EminemInsider think? Lol, I don't. They are the biggest offenders of not moving on from his old music.

It's the MINDSET that you people have that pisses me off. You guys cannot move on, and I feel like if you truly did you would enjoy the music a lot better. Stop comparing and just enjoy the music, there's no fuckin' reason. It is ridiculous, especially if you KNOW that nothing he makes now can top his old shit. So it's best to just enjoy what we get.

Now, if that doesn't make any sense to you guys then I don't know what the fuck will. StayWideAwake, Menzo, other posters who have made similar posts to them GET what I was trying to say with this thread. You, Class, Accor, etc. did NOT understand what I'm getting at and think I'm saying his new shit is better than his old shit lmao when it's not true at all. I listen to new Em more often than old Em, so really lol you guys can facepalm me all day while I'll be happy enjoying the music.

:shakehead:

A past album should NEVER effect your views on a future album. FACT. Facepalm that.

I agree with Kill You. Mostly. Word of advice for you, don`t go into arguments with "the intelligent members". It`s not worth the time.

I agree that Em is not as good as he used to be. But he is still good. And I`m happy that he is still making music. People forget that he is an artist. He needs, like someone said, "fuel" for his music. There is no more drama in his life and we can see that in his music. With drama, he made incredible music. Without it, he makes great music.

And, this bias just shows his greatness. As soon as his music is just great, he gets bashed.
