Here's one from Wax:

Big Wax, man of the year
Back of the plane, demanding a beer
Giving other people at random a cheer
Blacked out when they're letting down the landing gear
I've been hot for a minute like I'm Pamela Grier
But I got more sun like Canada beer
Thought me and Herbal-T'd up and disappear
But your boy came back and he's standing here
Take a look at the man in the mirror
Ask yourself if you wanna damn your career
Ameture queers panic in fear
When me and Herbal T on stage they all stand in the rear
Pure stamina here so keep the free space on your camera clear
Spit for the span of a year, spit till there's blood in my grill like my van hit a deer
i'm comin in, drivin my short bus
with this nose i don't need a torch up
bustin through, light the industry's porsche up
comin after who didn't support us...
imma change your brain bring
every wicked bit of strange to mainstream

Class is right, lol. This is gonna turn into a dick-measuring contest of verses that are the most filled-to-the-brim with multis, and completely miss the concept of what good rhyming is.

Good rhyming, isn't most rhymes or longest rhymses, it's simply non-forced rhyming. That's why I think Spoonfull, Slug, Masta Ace, Common, Joe Budden, Cam'ron and Prime Eminem are much better rhymers than Tech, Crooked I and Hopsin (although Hopsin is improving) and a lot of netcees and battlers. The best rhymes are when you aren't sure which was made first, but that can't always be the case, so the next best is the other rhymes fitting in seamlessly.

Possessed has some great ones.

"Enforce the laws of gravity and draw the sword of Damocles to the nape of your neck" >*

"Don’t just button your lip. Close it shut with a zip and sew it up with a stitch"

Prince Ea:

"Even Ali don't wanna see the jabs when i box 'cos I float like a butterfly and sting like an African wasp"

Eyedea

"We were the cream of the crop but it seems we've been robbed, that's what happens when you trade in all your dreams for a job"

Common

"Through death grew conception, a new breath and resurrection. For wrongs, new steps in a direction in the right way"

J. Cole

"My flow's cold as a shoulder of gold digging hoes when a broke nigga approaches"

Here's one from Soul Khan's "Soulstice 3":

i don't need an opponent, cause in the heat of the moment
the only battle that matters is with my feelings and motives
so maybe theives are the owners cause when they see what you ownin
they wanna steal it and clone it for all the weakest and lowest
and i don't need a diploma for me to see and decode it
so either leave me alone or just take a seat in the lotus position
and meditate

You fucking idiot. :facepalm
The point is to find new music through eachother. Not argue about which one is better. Share the best shit you've found so that we can hopefully add it to our playlist as well.

It's best multis, lol. And people like you have a misconception of what good rhyming is.

I'm not saying it's as gross a misconception as the "Lyrical Appreciation Thread" which desperately needs a change in title, but it's still a bad misconception.

That's not objective. You enjoy the sound of rhymes that flow out naturally, whereas others really like Tech's style of avoiding non-rhyming words like the plague, and making sure each syllable in every bar matches.

I agree. But every good artist has many of those. http://youtu.be/-f40Rc3qRrs?t=3m12s I like when the artist rhymes more things than I'm able to predict. When they take the multi and chain it on and on to the point that i'm certain there's nothing left that rhymes, but it just continues stacking. Here's an example: http://youtu.be/2WWYAnLLa8w?t=31s

Here's one from Celph Titled:

i'mma be
rockin a kufi while I'm cockin a uzi
make it go pop like The Fugees, i'm stickin cock in a floozy
i'm like Pac, you can't move me, i'm the Mustafa with toolies
i'll be hawkin a loogie, it ain't no stoppin this loony
while i'm clockin' a cutie that keeps a Glock in her booty
she get hot in jacuzzis and watch her drop in a two-piece
it's a lot of these groupies, that be hot with the coolies
so it's best not that they do me so i stay floppin' their boobies
i'll put the dot on your doobie, even your pops said I'm groovy
i've been sockin ya noobies since i was locked into juvie
and you gotta be goofy, rockin your knot till it's gooey
at the top where my crew be, look how my pockets are poofy
and you sloppy like dookie, call me the doc like I'm Doogie
i'm in the lobby with Susie, you see some mamis who blew me?
i'm sippin Don with my suzie, your bitches swallow the roofies
so come hop on my Suzuki, I'm poppin shots from my hooptie
like Betty Crocker and Bruce Lee, i'm cookin' pots of chop suey
roastin' your rott till he's soupy, look like a goblin, not Snoopy
now you plottin' to shoot me, you paid the cops only 2 G's
i paid the S.W.A.T. Team a cool 3 to mop your top like Chewy
or the Ewok in the movie, even Chris Rock said I'm cooky
now check my plot, it's a doozy, I'm givin ostriches noosies
so they can chomp through your Guchi, now you can stop actin' snoody
it's not about all the loochy, have you forgotten? I'm loosely--
out my mind, got me woozy, lettin off shots is my duty
champagne on the block like Big Scooby, peace to for rockin the Cubie
travel non-stop to Bermudy, sunglasses blockin the UV's
leavin your carcasses, doobie, shootin from choppers and Hueys
i bet you thought you could fool me, Blowfish; rock like i'm Hootie
i'm at the dock with some blue skis, sippin some vodka with brewskies
i write a lot on my loose leaf, and the gods couldn't duke me
bitches be walkin right to me, playin em to me song "Juicy"
ain't it odd they just knew me - is it not a bit spooky?
Your mom be callin me pookie while i be palmin her coochie
look at my watch with the rubies, your whole roster is fruity
i'm slangin rocks with my goonies, then we coppin more jewelry
and i ain't gotta be boozy, i'm with the wops and the moolies
on TV slots like i'm Tootie, or that Cosby kid Rudy
now you got sick with the flu, sneezin, when i rock they don't boo me
i'm spittin topics so rudely just like the comic Paul Mooney
and i'm not from the boonies, no synopsis or proof-read required
when i talk the tool speaks, you can't stop or refute me
you can't walk when i shoot these, riot and rock, we show mutiny
walk in the spot, they say "who's he?" "your album flopped, it's a snoozy"
bad bitch with a body named Lucy came to my spot and seduced me
took my cumshots like a true sleeze, Vuitton Don like I'm Louis
grabbin my crotch when i'm moody
Heckler and Koch yeah i move heat
take all you got if you sue me
bring out the monsters and ghoulies
i'm comin in, drivin my short bus

Here's one from Rittz's "White Jesus". I know it doesn't all seem like one rhyme but it is when you listen to it:

it's Rittz, Jonny Valiant bitch, bon jour
baby i'm raw
i've been deadly on the mic since back in '04
motherfuckers say i disrespect the art form
you don't wanna piss me off cause i'm a ticking time bomb
i'm from G.C., everybody hardcore
when they hear that gun clap like an encore
leave your car door looking like a dart board
more holes in your body than a golf course
fuck that imma stand tall, never fall short
heard somebody say i got the ball in my court
my boys and my gunner homie imma die for
i’m not a human i’m more like a cyborg
i soar on the highway 85 north
mingling on singleton and down to 5-4's, i'm sure
you ain't heard of me but now it's time for
people looking in the sky like "why lord"

Here's one from Tech N9ne's "If I Could":

i know your heart is skippin
cause i'm on a mission
your eyes and schnoz' are drippin
cause your dog is missin
and you're his broad and wishin he wasn't a frickin politician
you want his kissin and you hope and pray and god is listenin
you wanna frollick with him
but he gotta get them dollars, give them all of his grim polished scripts and they all assist him
now he's baller, big and tall ambition
you fall in friction cause you miss your body's twitchin throbbin from his rod incisions
so you started fishin
websites and call him bitchin
thinkin some broad is nibblin on his dick and yall is driftin
but he just say "nah" to chickens
all of this when cause is given

if i could i would dissolve suspicion

this is a pet peeve of mine when rappers do this. the syllables are off. to me it's so jarring to hear that it'll ruin perfectly good lines.

I agree with this stance. In MY opinion, excellent rhyming is where you're rhyming so fluently it almost sounds like regular conversation. For some people, if you're too robotic with your rhyming, it can be a chore to sit there and listen through a song and you don't want that. But then you got dudes like Tech on the other side of the spectrum where for him it sounds nice. But if you were to ask me who I'd rather prefer, it's the Ghost Rhyming technique for me.

Here's another from Soul Khan:

i wake up, put the brush to my busted teeth, day one of these lucky luxuries
now i wake up whenever it comforts me, sit down on the train on a dusty seat
into the city where they hustle, cheat - just to eat a more supple meat
why pay for the cow when the tongue's for free? i'mma save the world so my first son can see
might find the door but never touch the key, they get tricked by slick Mike Huckabee
all my old ways now seeming dumb to me
but you'd have probably done the same when you was young as me
i'm taking every shot til the buzzer beeps, and touching every base till i scuff my cleats
been nice since i was in dungaree's
so when it's all said and done, i'mma fuck and feast

If it is not necessary to make it seem natural, it's not good or impressive in the slightest.... objectively, lol.

If you think "My pet parrot can talk like a human/Time let carrot man walk fine and truman/rhyme set garrot fan squawk dyke a crewman"

Is better or as good as "Holy or unholy, only have one homie, only this gun, lonely cause don't anyone know me" you're wrong.

With the tacit premise that it makes sense and sounds natural. Otherwise, "stacking" extra rhymes is not difficult or good at all.

can you elaborate on this a bit? i feel like i'm not following you, because there's a lot of robotic-like rhyme schemes i've heard that sounded amazing.

This is an unfair comparison. One doesn't make any sense while the other makes perfect sense.

Of course I prefer it make sense. But I genuinely enjoy/prefer weird-sounding flows and rhyme schemes that shouldn't work on a beat, but somehow do. http://youtu.be/54sv0-6Zviw?t=4m7s
