Imagine if j.cole signed to shady?

ok so simple as that, what if? J.cole is nasty at story telling examples lost ones, killers, etc imagine if he had one of the greatest story tellers of all time arguably to help master that craft? I think it could almost positivly be the next 50 cent for shady... my opinion and its the true.

I'd easily take that... apart the fact Cold could have been fucked over & over by Interscope like most Shady artists have experienced.

Not necessarily though... labels use to have all types of rap artists in 'em & it was about who you're affiliate to rather than the sound.
On top of my head Def Jam had the likes of LL, Method Man, The Roots etc. etc. dropping albums with totally different sound but still killing it.

I'd be aight with it but I feel like his set up at the Roc now is best for him. I agree he got fucked on the first album, but it's out of the way. I'm more than happy with Born Sinner, and he's got a bright future ahead of him. As far as him going to shady, eh, I'm not sure. I suppose anything's possible but I couldn't see it.
