Won't Back Down may have been all over the place lyrically, but I bet not one other rapper could have a rhyme scheme how he did on it and actually make it sound pretty good. His wordplay on WBD is pretty sharp, almost everything on every line rhymes.

Anyways, Survival definitely sounds like a Recovery type of song.

In summary, the line manages to reiterate the whole idea of "I wont quit" without actually saying the words, by showing instead of telling, if you will. It isn't really deep, as suits the anthemic nature of the song, so it wasn't meant to be too hard to grasp.

I understand the line but people are now over exaggerating how "dope" the verses are on Survival. There's nothing great or good about that line in particular. I hope we get a whole album like Berzerk and Survival, which people are actually praising now. I really do so people can see how crappy it's going to be. If these two songs are indicative of the album, we're in trouble man.

Exactly. I'm now 100% convinced it is on the album, and damn.....that doesn't bode well the album. Survival isn't album quality IMO, especially for something that's supposed to be a revisit to the MMLP.

My expectations took a nose dive if this is included on the main album.
