I enjoy some of his stuff, but classic and timeless records??? Compare Kanye's supposed classics to real hip hop classics lie Illmatic, MMLP, Reasonable Doubt, Me Against the World....it doesn't even compare and shouldn't be held in the same conversation IMO.

As a producer, sure....Kanye is great. Though I feel he struggles making GREAT beats without samples. Like 9 times out of 10 it's a beat with a sample. I still wouldn't rate him with Premier or Dre status as far as great hip hop producers.

Under the Influence indeed is great ! But something's definitely wrong with Drips for me ... I wish it was replaced with Stimulate.

I'll tell you something, Survival is better than Steve Berman on MMLP.
TRShady's neighbourhood Spiderman!

I just watched this video again.

Y'all have no idea of how much I like to see Blonde Em nowadays. It's nostalgic, new (I became an Em fan in 09, so I never 'witnessed' him blonde. I don't know if I made myself clear) and badass at the same time. It's awesome as fuck.

Complaining about samples then saying Premier's better… well done, dickhead.

You do realise how hip-hop started, right? You do understand that sampling is effectively what hip-hop production was built on from the very beginning?

Obviously Premier uses samples, almost every producer does. But he's done great records without samples many times. Kanye made a career using samples in, literally every song.

And what exactly is the problem with that?
