Ok, THAT gave me cancer. Encore x Recovery is pretty reasonable, but Encore x Relapse is just an idiotic comparison.

When I listen to music I like to connect to what the person is saying, Relapse sounds nothing like any of Eminem's other albums and I couldn't get into it as much. I respect the album for what it is. Relapse to me is something completely different and I don't listen to a bunch of the songs on it because I don't like them, not because they are bad but because they bore me and get old. I can't remember the last time I listened to Relapse all the way through in one go.

Encore is 2/3 classic Em and 1/3 drugged up Em and I can listen to his funny songs and although they are genuinely terrible I still get a laugh from them and can listen to them. As I said I have a couple of friends who 100% agree with me on this as well. I didn't even know there was such a huge hate for Encore until I started visiting Rap/Music forums I kinda was pushed back and was like "Wow people really hate this".

I disagree. Even on the very good tracks of Encore (Evil Deeds, Never Enough, Mosh, Crazy In Love, Yellow Brick Road) you can hear a bit of the slurred voice. I see your point, but when I hear these songs I can hear the slur. On the middle part of Encore it's more perceptable, of course.

Yeah I notice this too, but I'm talking in more terms of content not the way he speaks. If I were to talk about his speech I'd 100% agree (except Mosh there I might not notice it).
