His biggest mistake was shitting himself about releasing Relapse 2 and starting to do Rihanna, Pink, Bruno Mars and Lil Wayne collabs.

We know you're a fan of Nas, Tech N9ne and Andre 3000, so why not get on a track with them instead of pandering to your new 12 year girl fans?

You guys are judging songs by the tittles before listening. Just wait and we'll see.

As for Rihanna and Skylar... we'll see.

Liz wasn't listed as a feature on Recovery or HTS either.

So doesn't suggest that. Just suggests her name is not big enough so they pretend she doesn't exist.

So are you saying that Bizarre, Sticky Fingaz, Porter, Snoop's verse > Kendrick Lamar ?
huh? no, I'm saying that Kendrick is nothing like them.
Revolutionary wrote:Dude I know you don't like the guy
I never said this, because I like Kendrick. I just don't cum over everything he puts out. He's an mc that can hold his head above water with most, and and on occasion he makes a song that I like.

Since when were Em's features impressive, though?

Even Xzibit, a guy he made 4 songs with, has never appeared on an Eminem album by himself.

That's true. But you've got to ask yourself why every album since Relapse has including pop artist collabs. Relapse with just Dre and 50 was perfect but nah Bruno Mars and the fucking singer from Fun would be better I suppose.

I'm not judging the music as for all we know it could be really good. However, the fact is Em has turned into a hypocrite, with dying the hair back having previously saying he wouldn't and then going from annihilating pop artists on the first MMLP to working with them on the sequel.

I've been a die hard fan since 2000 but I cannot take anymore disappointment from Em only for him to diss his music on his next album.

It is. He's naming the album MMLP2 to get more sales. And a shitload of people will still buy it no matter how bad it is because of that name. Genius marketing move by Eminem but a big middle finger to core fans.

I don't believe Eminem is doing it to get more sales.

I wouldn't confuse loss of artistry or just... being worse with selling out or doing something like that; there's so many easier ways he could do things like that and he's clearly continuously trying to rap his brains out still, I don't believe he's done all this for sales at all...

I just think he's a lesser artist than he was, fails to see the meaning and significance in the original MMLP and seems to be treating this as just another album and thinks he's 'revisiting' it with constant swearing or anger but not really seeming to grasp the meaning in his own shit. Odd.

1. Not associated an album track with a video game; a move blatantly designed to sell units by association... (which in itself is not an issue... obviously he wants to sell - every artist wants people to hear their work) - but to do such a move for an official track for fucking MMLP2... that's unforgiveable and the fact he has no problem with that is majorly worrying.

Because: once you associate music with visuals... it's pretty hard to disassociate it... and it's not like "Survival" was just 'used' by COD, it was released WITH IT, in a joint venture release - so that song is forever fucking linked to the 'atmosphere' and concept and feel of a fucking video game, which is corny as fuck. The original MMLP was the anti-commercialism masterpiece... to make a sequel to that with move like that... that's ridiculous. I don't get how he can't see that.

2. Not had Skylar and Rihanna on the album. They're singers, they can sing well, so it's not big deal in a literal sense: they're there to provide melody, that's all. But: again, for MMLP2!!? - how the fuck can this be any kind of sequel to the album which is KNOWN for being soooo anti-establishment and soooo fucking anti-everything; anti-obvious, anti-pop... and to then have not only two really generic pop singers on there but two of the most obvious presumptions by all of us.

Em used to care about knowing what we expected and then totally fucking with us. He even did that with Recovery tbh; he did it with Relapse and Recovery, I never expected either of those things at either times, and both worked for what they were... but to fucking use Skylar and Rihanna, on this project? it was a move presumed by people who bash Em who are usually wrong and exaggerate. This time: he's fulfilled their prediction and done the obvious.

3. ...

I'll reserve #3 until I hear the music.

I really hope I'm wrong too. But unfortunately everything is pointing to me being right.
