The hardcore Stan's can argue all they want but the truth is Em sold out the second he shit himself and scrapped Relapse 2 in favour of his new pop star buddies on Recovery. HOWEVER, I can forgive him for that because Recovery is great for what it is. It doesn't promise to be anything it isn't.

The Marshall Mathers LP name carries so much significance though. This album is apparently a revisit to the first album but compare the list of guest appearances on each album. Rihanna , Skylar and the singer from Fun on the MMLP2? Add in a promo song to COD which sounds like it was recorded three years ago. Not only that but they made it a fucking single. He had relevant things to say on TRSS and The Way I Am. Will Survival and Berzerk be considered classics 13 years from now? I highly doubt it.

I've been a huge Em fan for 13 years but I'm really disappointed with how out of touch he seems to be nowadays.
