Well reviewers/critics thrive when something blows that hard so for them at some point it's more about to make the review count & be as much talked about/sold as possible rather than just say what the majority of people know/say.

As I said in another thread, I don't even speak English as a first language and I understand that he means that he has come far enough to be respected so much to be able to induct someone into the Hall of Fame.
While that is something to be very proud of and so on, it has nothing to do with being popular.
Popular is something you are when youre new and fresh. The hot new shit.
Eminem is NOT as big as he used to be.
He knows this and he didn't even consider himself a god back in the day because he was humble enough to see himself for what he was, a very skilled rookie.

Now he IS a god. He has the right to call himself that by now.
