I agreed with him in a lot of parts. The difference is that I actually love corny punchlines and jokes. I make them all the the time and watch my mates just shake there head at me! He does go overboard sometimes though even for me.

I think Rap God is awesome, I love it. Anyone read that? Pretty much the defences we all use here.

So you guys turn to DISSING anthony Fantano now just coz ya'll wanna defend Rap God?! I love the track just as much as the next person but i respect honest reviews. Some people do find the content repetitive just like some people here find Jay Z "always talking about money" repetitive. He acknowledges the technical skill involved and agrees the beat is trash (Develop is probably crying in a pillow somewhere from all the hate lol)

Bottom line, let the guy be. He is not some MTV dickriding fool and puts in the effort to dissect and digest the music.

I originally thought the truck sound effect may have been the one from Kim but it's not. That could have been a nice touch.

I'm enjoying just refreshing the audio video to see it has another 50k views every 10 mins or so. Funniest line I think for me is "I don't know how to make songs like that, I don't know what words to use".

I haven't heard Fantano's review since I almost never agree with what he says and I've got better things to do with my time, but I dont think the above posters are dissing him 'cos of his review. They might simply have the opinion that his opinions generally suck.

There is a high probability that this is the best song on the album. I know that. But like you said, I cant help but think that its possible that Rap God is like, the fifth best song on the album. If that's the case, my brain might melt immediately following my first listen through the album.
