I love how he gives shitty punchlines from other rappers a pass but not Eminem...have your own opinion, yeah, but his was really fucking stupid.

I'm looking forward to his MMLP2 review. That's why I subscribed to him some days ago.

He's predictable. Just wait till he bashes Kendrick's next album.

He gave GKMC a 9 and named it the 2nd best album of 2012

"We want the old Eminem back, we miss the old Eminem"

 I found his impersonation of Eminem fans hilarious. Also doesn't hurt that it reminds me of how they portrayed Michael Jackson on South Park. I thought his review was on point and I agree with him on nearly everything he said.

Eedee wrote:This guy has no idea what he's talking about.

He called the part about being rubber "school yard rhymes". The schemes on that part totally flew past his head.

I highly doubt the schemes went right over his head, are you serious? What scheme? It's a fair amount of assonance which makes it sound great, coupled with his perfect clarity syllable for syllable, but the rhymes themselves are nothing special, nor creative. Nice, innovation ricocheting. Lots of long "o" vowel sounds. I get the internals and I understand rhyme schemes just as well as any member of this site and I don't think that Fantano "has no idea what he's talking about" when it comes to this particular section that he pointed out.

Uh, sama lamaa duma lamaa you assuming I'm a human
What I gotta do to get it through to you I'm superhuman
Innovative and I'm made of rubber
So that anything you say is ricocheting off of me and it'll glue to you

In addition he was clearly criticizing the "I'm rubber, you're glue, insults bounce off me and stick to you" concept. If anyone else said the same thing with an unimpressive rhythm there would be literally nothing remotely decent about it.

No matter how good the music is, he still won't like it.

I agree with this, he's already made up his mind about "new Eminem"

Hmmm I kind of agree with him

he is quite honest on this review, and generally speaking I have the same concerns/views about the whole thing

Like you said, "innovation/ricocheting" and then "superhu(man)/glue to you" are certainly not school yard rhymes.

My friends that don't even listen to rap easily understand the concept and creation of 3 syllable multies, yes those are very simple rhymes. No schemes flew over his head. And as I said he was obviously criticizing the metaphor rather than the scheme. It sounds like something that would've been rapped in a schoolyard cypher.

This guys a douche though. He gave Hell the Sequel a bad review, when most everyone gave a positive review of the EP.

I love how he actually implies that TES is when Eminem took a turn for the worse.

Next he's gonna pull out his Starbucks and discuss Nietzsche and how ironic the world is.
