My best friend is a lesbian and she likes some of Em's music (Berzerk, Survival, Recovery and TES ones), and her opinion on Rap God is:

'I'm okay with those lyrics, I didn't feel offended, BUT I do think that Em's influential power can be harmful to gay people, you know? Kids and teenagers can be influenced by Eminem, and that worries me a little bit. But I'm not offended, I still think Em is the best rapper OAT.'

I have a gay friend who is also my only stan friend, and all my other gay friends are fine with Em.

Some of the violently homophobic lyrics on Relapse (Underground especially) actually do bother me a bit, but I love that album way too much to be put off by it. The only Em song I actually find offensive is My Fault. That "little coochie in your dad's mouth" line is really fucked up. The most offensive thing about My Fault, though, it's that it's the only song on SSLP that isn't at least good. The humor comes off kinda forced and corny, imo. Then again, I'm not into drugs at all (sans weed), so maybe the song would be more appealing if I were into shrooms.

This seems to be an implication that I'm gay. I'm not, but I'm not offended because there's nothing negative about it. It's no different from "you're black" or "you have blue eyes."
