Why is eminem a part of Interscope?

I get it, they gave him a career. But they've controlled it too. Let's say he broke the contract and they sued him, he's got enough money to get out.

I've thought this for a while and after reading the rolling stone interview it comes to mind again. A deadline? Really? Why rush him? Why have him "sleep deprived" trying to finish an album? If it takes him give years then that's what it takes.

This is his last album under contract with Interscope. If he's a smart businessman and cares about the direction of his career, he'll buy out Shady Records and go independent. Maybe then he'll start working with some goddamn rappers again.

Cant imagine how much money Em would of been worth if he didn't goto Interscope.. technically he may of never exploded but at the same rate we all known Interscope takes a hefty portion of their artists.

But I think this is all a bit late.. If it would of been earlier in his career.. perhaps this would be worth while.

I imagine retirement (from his solo career) is on the horizon. However, maybe he should just work on Shady records. Merg Shady with Strange and go Indie w/ Tech

Why shouldnt he be on there? He has had a fuck load of succsess because of them.He is under a contract and he should and will honor it.

I've love if Em took his label(after this album) and turned it into an independent powerhouse like Strange or Subnoize.
