Rap God was pretty good, but I still felt that the majority of it was fast rapping and not really talking to us. In Em's first 4 albums actually, he was talking to us, you could feel it. Ever since Relapse, his lyrics have been harder to pick up. He looses us at times. Even in Not Afraid or Beautiful, it felt like he was rapping to himself, but not with us or to us. Lack of intimacy if you will. He was close in ''Going Through Changes'' and ''Talking To Myself'' but something was still off a bit. In ''Berzerk'' I don't feel like he rapped at us for the most part.
Back in the days, White America, Business, Cleaning Out My Closet, the Way I am, Still Don't Give A fuck and all those songs gave us the sense he was talking to us. We felt more of a connection. Will he get back to that in MMLP2?
