Pretty excited as it sounds like this song has the potential to be a really good song as well as a MONSTER :shifty: on the charts.

If it's true the song is about the monsters around us and within us this could be a fantastic Eminem song, I know he's capable of pulling it off and I hope he does. I'm not going to get myself hyped about expecting a certain type of flow or sound from Eminem, I'm going to be open to whatever he brings, this could be amazing ya'll! :-)

Don't hate til you hear it.

I'm not hating it. I even like Rihanna. The thing is that I don't like listening to really popular songs.
When this morning I told this girl in my class (she's a classic casual Em fan) that he had a new song with Rihanna coming out on 28th the first thing she said was "Oh nice! There's Rihanna, it's gonna be great!".
Do you see my point? If this song will be a single it will probably be a huge hit, and I don't want to be mistaken for a trend-follower whore when I listen to it in public (like with LTWYL, which is a great song but you basically never catch a real Em fan listening to it).
If he just had let the Bebe sing HER OWN song it would be better for everybody. Em would still have his hit (just less popular), I would be able to listen to this song in public without looking like a MTV puppet like most of my generation, and most of all, Bebe Rexha would have her carreer skyrocketed (*cough* *cough* Dido *cough*).
But no, Rihanna must be on it. Why? Maybe Interscope? I don't even know. Fuck it.
And also, RiRi I love you, but damn, write your own hooks please, don't steal people's work.

it could be stupid if he talked about his demons or whatever, he did it a hundreds of times, it won't sound so sincere.

I don't like that he but Rihanna, because it feels like he's using her popularity, which is a thing I don't like to feel that Eminem is doing, he is big enough he can make unknown person a Rihanna, like he did with Dido.

I know that's how it works, but it's unfair tbh

Exactly, and that's what I feel he should do.

Why would you care what other people think when you listen to a song? Fuck that, if this is good I'll be blasting it in my car

If I like something I bump it too, I don't care. But I just feel awkward listening to a super popular song like LTWYL or what this The Monster song can become in public, can't help it.

Does Rihanna ever write her own music?

I'm sorry but it's hard for me to respect "artist" who don't write their own lyrics.

I can get past it thought off the verses are dope. :D

No, people write for her.

She is JUST* a pop singer.. Eminem just obviously likes her/her sound. :y:

First of all, no need to attack me.
Second, Em is popular, that's right, but you don't get what I'm saying.
I don't want to be mistaken for one of those kids who listen to everything MTV plays just for the sake of it.
Here if you listen to Em songs that are non-singles, really a few people know what you are listening to.
And I don't need to calm down, since I'm not angry.
