If you aint got more than 200 dollars, dont buy anything. That's all i am saying. And when you go to buy one, make sure it is specialised for voice, unless u want it for a certain instrument. Companies and models dont count, the details of every microphone are so small that if you are not a pro you cant understand them.

I have no idea. I use way too high tech stuff for you to afford i guess. Genesis 1000 Final Amplifier, Yamaha MX 12/4 Console, AKAI 4000 DS MkII Tape Recorder, MkII Technics Turntable, Sound Blaster Audigy 16, Casio Casiotone 501 Keyboard. That's all. I can get pics as well.

Right now IF you are lucky you can find em with 3000 dollars. The amplified only costs 1400.

unless you're really serious about rapping you really don't need something that costs more than $100

If you have a hundred bucks to spend on a mic, then buy the Samson C01U USB mic...it's a condensor mic (the type used in studio to record voice...most mics people buy at a low price are dynamic mics, which are used for live performance most of the times) it's a really great mic, and the good thing is you don't need phantom power to use it, since you plug it in your computer through a USB port...condensor mics need phantom power to work (a pre-amp, which costs like 60 bucks for the cheapest ones).... that Samson C01U mic can't be compared to mics worth thousand of dollars used by profesionnal, but it offers a GREAT sound quality, at a quite low price, so yeah, like Harlem said, if you can't afford a good mic, don't buy another one, cause it won't be worth it (unless your mic is a piece of crap and you want a better piece of crap :p), you should save your money for something good... here is a link to the Samson mic... you can find it on some american sites at like $70
