I don't know what y'all were doing, but I was watching the VMA because of JT and Kanye. We're just living our lives when suddenly, on Em's instagram:

Then we got Berzerk, Berzerk's video, Behind the Scenes, Survival, Survival's video (dat motherfucking ending), Cover of the album, Tracklisting, Rap God, Deluxe Cover + Bonus Tracks + Confirmation of 2 performances on the first week of November.

And The Monster in 2 days. Whoa.

It's crazy how I get as excited now at 25 as I did when I was 12, 13. He's the only artist that gets me this way. He's like the Breaking Bad of music for me.

I just remember those encore/curtain call years with a big question mark on the future of his career.

Then we got two albums in as many years and three years later, another one.

I'm just glad he's back. Music isn't the same without Eminem.

I was in a mandatory floor meeting in my dorm, and I get the tweet update (#MMLP2) on my phone. I zoomed to the school computer lab since I didn't have my laptop with me yet.

I saw the MMLP2 pic on Em's facebook and just went crazy
I never considered the possibility of a sequel before

In Canada we see different commercials than you in the US do. So when everyone was going nuts, I was like uhhh. I didn't really believe it until I checked Eminem.com and couldn't believe it. And then he went blonde again.

I'll also never forget listening to Shade 45 for the premier of Berzerk, and watching the COD event and hearing Survival. Crazy times.

That beats commercial though...it still hypes me, I like the footage there better than some of the footage in the real video. Like when he says "turn the volume loud", I like the two twists instead of the slow single twist he does in the real video.
