Beautiful's meaning is a conjoined mess. The verses are him crying about how he's "stho fuckin duh-pressed" and personal anecdotes about how hand servants want to wipe his ass and how he hurt his tongue, but the hook is an attempt to be inspirational to people in a dark place. Not Afraid was Beautiful done right technically (though I hate them both equally).

Relapse was good, but it's highly overrated on here IMO. And I think his goal was trying to create big controversy again, I think he was expecting a different reaction to Relapse than what the majority of listeners had. No controversy really, and a ton of people hated the accent.


Its funny how Relapse went from being hated on and underrated, to actually overrated now. And Recovery went from overrated initially and being hailed a classic initially for some fucked up reason, to actually underrated now. Encore is the only one that's really stayed the same, as a lot of fans would call it his worst album.
