This sounds nothing like Recovery, I'm sorry but it's not. I like a lot of Recovery songs over this. This would not fit.

I'm not feeling Ems flow for this album tbh.....

On Rap God it works because the point of that song is to showcase crazy lyrical abilities.

He's choppy as fuck lately tbh, and it doesn't sound natural at all.

He needs to get on his Ridaz and On Fire type of shit. That's what we want to hear man....

It's not terrible like people make it out to be. It's very average though and tbh probably gonna end up being the only song other than Headlights like this on the album. But all the other songs are gonna be a lot better. Come on, most of the album is "Slim Shady", this is one of the few tracks that isn't. This is the radio song that is supposed to blow up and get people to get interested in the album. Then they hear the rest of it and get disappointed because it's nothing like The Monster lmao. Recovery was nothing like LTWYL either. I think you all need to grow up and relax.

Rap God = 10/10
Berzerk = 8/10
Survival = 8/10
The Monster = 6.5/10

You really are a fucking idiot. The original MMLP's singles were perfect. TRSS was poppy without sacrificing the lyrical quality, the beat, or even the hook. It worked as a radio track, but coexisted as a great album track as well. The other singles off the MMLP were straight fire. Em does not need a pop single like this. He has cemented his place in the game, he can do what he wants.

This is a sign of an artist who has no fucking clue what good music currently constitutes. He is either being driven by his label, and is thus an arse puppet, or he genuinely does not understand what it takes to create a dark, menacing, demon conquering track.

Exactly, he can do whatever he wants. And this is what he wants. Idiot. Wow, fucking fuck off faggot.

You cannot prove that he decided to make this track and include it in so much as I can prove that Interscope told him to make it.

He can do what he wants, but when comparisons with MMLP2 are made (even as a revist) he is dirtying the intention of that classic album. A song like this should not even be deemed an attempt at a revisit.

I don't think you understand much, Kill You.
"All the other songs will be a lot better". How the fuck do you know? You make such wild statements. You made a similar one about Survival before.
At least LTWYL fitted on recovery.

DanWS wrote:Absolute garbage. Even worse than I predicted. Sounds like a Flo Rida single produced by David Guetta. Lol. Even some of the most staunch Stans on here are having to admit that this is a huge embarassment.

On a more positive note, I'm sure Kill You will be dancing up and down on his bed to this song like an excited little girl, along with his Katy Perry and One Direction favourites.

Are you that against pop you can't appreciate some talent?

I don't care what ya'll bitches think, I really like it. Love the 2nd verse & I think Rihanna did a fantastic job on the hook (can't believe I'm saying that), she really killed it.
This song really hits home for me so I'm sure I'll enjoy it more than most. And it's insane that we have 4 tracks & have no clue how the rest of the record will sound.

Just fucking horrbile! It sounds like Recovery and it worries me.... We already two songs that sound like Recovery, that's terrible!

This shit made sure that Em really needs to stop working with this BITCH!

How does this sound like recovery you fucking dipshit?

I can hear something from LTWYL in it.... It doesn't sound the same but something in it is similar.

You can't prove anything either, Hawk. Go away.

I don't think YOU understand what MMLP2 is actually about.

LTWYL > TM for right now. I remember when LTWYL came out and I liked it but then a few months later I hated it. I hope this will have the opposite affect. This song honestly got me less excited for the album but it still should be better then recovery as a whole.

100% this.
The only thing that I actually love about this album is that his voice is perfect. Everything else... I don't know, I have to wait and see.

How so? The beat is very Recovery-ish, but the guitars, and the hook is very very catchy. The content is also Recovery-esque. "I'm back bitch, rawer than ever now I'm sober"

It screams Recovery.
