It looks like MMLP2 dosn't have any concept becuse every song is so different!
That's pretty sad.

Suck my dick Marshall. I know he's changed but he can obviously make stuff like On Fire, Ridaz, Going Through Changes, and others.....that was his last fucking album. But its like he got in the studio and tried to make something more poppy than Recovery. Em doesn't need pop shit to sell a lot of albums.
(excluding Going Through Changes)
Woah, you want Marshall to write songs like On Fire & Ridaz? You're right, Marshall's lyrical miracle hardcore songs are the best. Man now that I think about it why does Marshall ever release albums he should still freestyle in a run down alley down in detroit tbh everything else he does is so poppy and not the real Em
Poontangarang wrote:Yes, it's poppy. Get the fuck over it and enjoy it for what it is. Monsterous (pun intended) hook from Rihanna, and 3 nice verses from Em. It's an instant hit. I'm sure MMLP2 will be less poppy and have some dark songs too.

He's tried to create a balanced album.
I defy anybody to name a single track on MMLP which 'isn't Shady' or isn't MMLP... there isn't one. This is why it is a classic.
It was fine for TES to be balanced, as it was Recovery...
But how in the fuck is more pointless rambling about fucking fame with a broad introspective spacey hook and hella fused pop pop, pop as fuck backdrop fucking MMLP2?
Fuck you Em. You fucked this right up. Wow.

This song really hits home for me so I'm sure I'll enjoy it more than most. And it's insane that we have 4 tracks & have no clue how the rest of the record will sound.
Word. I've got it on repeat right now and I love the shit out of this song because I can relate to it so much, especially the hook. It may not be the epic Stan type song I expected, but this song is exactly what I needed to hear today. It's going to help a lot of people and that's one of the key reasons why Em even makes music.
Kill You wrote:His voice and lyrics are really good. It's really not bad but not a song I will be listening to much after the album leak. I HIGHLY fucking doubt MMLP2 will be anything like this song lmao. This is the single song as I keep saying and everyone is just having a spazz attacking screaming "Recovery 2!" as if they've heard MMLP2 lmao.
You guys are gonna slip shit when the album leaks and it's great.

'some dark songs' and some not so dark songs is pointless...
That's any other Em album...
Why even call it MMLP2?... Just tarnished the fucking title of his masterpiece for no reason.
If he thinks 'revisiting the mmlp' is him being angry.. he's always fucking angry, and he always swears and he always insults aimless women and gays... so how the fuck is this any different.
This really IS fucking Recovery 2. Fuck you Em.

Dude every artist have the same thoughts that he will express in different forms, like woody allen said. introspective artist will always do this, Bruce, John Mayer....
especially with Em, you can almost match tracks in his 4 albums that talks about the same thing.
You are really closed minded, you made some ideas about what mmlp2 should be and you want him to sound like it, it's new thing.
