He's tried to create a balanced album.

I defy anybody to name a single track on MMLP which 'isn't Shady' or isn't MMLP... there isn't one. This is why it is a classic.

It was fine for TES to be balanced, as it was Recovery...

But how in the fuck is more pointless rambling about fucking fame with a broad introspective spacey hook and hella fused pop pop, pop as fuck backdrop fucking MMLP2?

Fuck you Em. You fucked this right up. Wow.

Dude every artist have the same thoughts that he will express in different forms, like woody allen said. introspective artist will always do this, Bruce, John Mayer....

especially with Em, you can almost match tracks in his 4 albums that talks about the same thing.

You are really closed minded, you made some ideas about what mmlp2 should be and you want him to sound like it, it's new thing.

No, it's not about the tracks being about the same thing, it's not about subject-matter.

It's allllll execution and mindset.

This mindset IS 'Recovery' and so is the presentation of the music.

He raps about different shit on MMLP too, it's not about that; it's about carrying a theme throughout an album. He seems to not be able to commit to this since Encore.

And MMLP is not some random album; it was a massive concept album and a huge statement on censorship... so a song about him overcoming odds and helping kids through a struggle... how in the holy fuck does that make 1% on a sequel to that?

MMLP is very precious. This song is generic and he could have made it 3 years ago.

It's not new, and it's totally forgettable - musically... Jesus fuck.

Good. No one's going to miss you. Go jack off in the bushes outside Aaron Paul's house, ya bish.

Maybe I will. Breaking Bad was consistent each year. Eminem is now consistently wack.

Everyone's hating on the beat and chorus, and I hear that shit, I feel ya.

But lets address the elephant in the room......Ems using the choppy ass flow still, I guarantee you he'll be rapping this way on most of the entire album.

If that's the case, and the production is like this and his flows are like this, it'll be the worst album he's ever made.

Wrong. Even Encore, Relapse, Recovery, and Hell the Sequel had a lot of dope shit on it. The good stuff still out weighed the bad shit. But I've heard one track on MMLP2 that is decent or a solid song (Rap God), one song that is ehhhh iiiight (Berzerk), one track that is pretty crappy and a Recovery throw away (Survival), and a grasp at the pop charts whack ass shit (Monster).

This doesn't mode well for the album. If half the album is good, it'll probably still be better than Encore.

But check Encore's first 4 singles or released songs....

Just Lose It
Mosh
Encore
Like Toy Soldiers

That's vastly superior to this

Suck my dick Marshall. I know he's changed but he can obviously make stuff like On Fire, Ridaz, Going Through Changes, and others.....that was his last fucking album. But its like he got in the studio and tried to make something more poppy than Recovery. Em doesn't need pop shit to sell a lot of albums.

I've probably been listening to Em far longer than most kids on here, and I accept change. I really liked Recovery, but this song is far worse than Recovery stuff.

The choppy flow is far far far worse than any shouting or strange accent he's ever done.

Amen brother.

The Real Slim Shady would tear these kind of songs apart. I mean literally, make a song called TRSS and diss the living fuck out of these forced, corny verses / songs.
Evolving as an artist my buttcrack. More like selling out.

I never imagined Eminem would be playing catch-up with The Eminem Show for over 11 years.

I wouldn't necessarily call On Fire good, or Ridaz exemplary.

t's a great song. Eminem already offered you "Rap God" and he said he can't make songs like "Lose yourself"

Eminem is known to be honest and he is just reflecting on himself. It's more of a motivational song.

Just think about it; Eminem has already released four songs and all of the songs are completely different.

He just can't make another song like "Not Afraid" because he is at a different point of his life. He has nothing else to prove. He is the best artist of this generation and he is portraying his fame beautifully on this song.

After listening to "Monster" I started to get a clear idea about this album more and more.

In Berzerk, he says "Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch"

and then he made everyone talk about his rap abilities in "Rap God"

Rhianna is currently the most successful female artist when it comes to Billboard Charts. She has 12 number one songs on Billboard; and that's more than Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift combined.

Rhianna is even hotter than Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift combined lol. So, this song is a hit.

It' just got to the point where Eminem has nothing to prove. He will continue selling million of albums. He has won everything but again he says in "Rap God"

But look at the accolades the skills brung me
Full of myself, but still hungry
I bully myself cause I make me do what I put my mind to
And I'm a million leagues above you, ill when I speak in tongues

Just relax and enjoy the music. It's still better than a lot of pop songs this year.

I thought his flow is perfect for this kind of song.

I was hoping I'd hear a different kind of song, a song that set the mood for an album, but instead I got a mess with a pop beat, like many have said, Em really fucked up when he named his album MMLP
