Eminembase: Your perspective on MMLP2

Postby Hopsinshadie » Oct 29th, '13, 09:53

If Eminem makes a Recovery 2.0 and that's what it looks like, will you still be a dedicated fan? I'm about to hop off of the bandwagon if this album blows. I ain't just gonna force myself to love all of Eminem's songs just because they are ''different.'' He's about done in my book.

Go die.

I will say this once and for all. MMLP2 is Eminem's MMLP for 2013. It's 2013. The times are different. Grow up.

If he's made Recovery 2 then my respect for his current sense of artistry, integrity... all that will have just gone right down the fucking drain.

A lot of people would say that a real fan would support someone to the end.

Just saying.

Although, no one's forcing you to like his new stuff, and I don't think you really need to, but, it doesn't mean you can't try. Give it a chance, you might even come to like the new shit. Take a walk, cool off, come back with a clear head and appreciate the new material for what it is.
It's not worth cutting someone off because they disappoint you a few times, it's actually a really stupid thing to do.

Just relax and give it a chance.

I've already decided I'm not seeing him when he comes to Australia. I just REALLY REALLY hope King Kendrick does some sideshows.

I shouldn't even bother to get upset over peoples opinions but you guys are pissing me off right now.
What the fuck do you expect of this 40+ year old man who survived his best friends death and a massive pill addiction that he even conquered and got through sober?
When the album drops I am 100% sure there will be songs there of Rap God caliber that will blow us away, yet there will be these kind of songs that keep him relevant in the mainstream.

Forget these god damn comparisons with MMLP and stop fucking saying "he would never do this song with this feature and this voice and with this flow back on -99"
ITS 14 DAMN YEARS AGO, most of you cunts weren't even born back then.
Times and people change and so does the way music sound.

Edit: Im fucking tired of your constant change of opinion HopsinShadie. Please stick to your opinion that Em is done and go listen to RAW until you slit your own throat.

NO because Rap God is nothing like Recovery, nor is Berzerk, Survival or Monster...
Survival is the closest but I would rather qualify it as a Hell: the sequel.
Monster reminds me of Airplanes part 2 and Rap God is just Ems all recent new styles in one song unleashed. Berzerk is somewhat a cry for attention, cant really grasp it.

Lmao Survival is exactly like it and The Monster is much closer to Recovery than the fucking Marshall Mathers LP.

Rap God isn't much like either of them.

Anyway, my point was (obviously) that he shouldn't have called it MMLP2
