You see, I liked Recovery though.

CWB, On Fire, GTC, Seduction, No Love verse, Space Bound, Ridaz, Session One, Untitled, So Bad, Almost Famous were all dope as fuck IMO.

I mean his flow just has me bugged as fuck the last two years.

4Corners on point itt.

It's pointless to argue back and forth with heads that weren't at least in high school when the SSLP dropped as opposed to just catching up with all of his material in say 2007.

25 to Life was meh for me. I hated the beat, but his flow wasn't nearly as fucked as it has been the past two years.

I agree. I find it hard to believe anyone who's not a blind fan or a new fan that truly enjoys this shit for MMLP2 so far, minus Rap God, which still is good but overrated it seems.

Here's how to know whether you really like a song or not.....if you find yourself having a listen over and over and over, or find reasons to why you like something.....it's probably not too good and you probably don't really like it.

I see
The story he's telling is what amazes me
He pushed all his anger to the game out in just one song
I think it's beaultiful :flutter:

Cold Wind Blows, On Fire, Going Through Changes, Almost Famous, So Bad, Untitled are the dope tracks.

Talkin' 2 Myself and Seduction are cool.

The rest is recycle bin pop rap crap garbage. Lyrically hes still on point but production/guests/content were pathetic. It was homo how he let the critics and his label pressure him into making a commercial friendly album.

Recovery was him doing what his label and critics wanted him to do like a good little yes man and that was go the commercial route. Instead of getting Dre bangers he gets beats from fags like Boi-1da, Supa Dups, and Alex da Kid. Instead of getting ill emcees as features he gets Lil Gayne, Pink, and Rhianna. Fagget shit.

The only song I really disliked on Recovery was You're Never Over and Love the Way You Lie. Though I will maintain that those two are better than the shit we had to hear yesterday.

Pink is fucking dope. I don't get why she gets a lot of hate here. She is to pop what Eminem is to rap. She's the rebel, middle finger waving, tell it like it fucking is, hard head.

Em/Pink on Won't Back Down was dope. Here Comes The Weekend wasn't due to the concept.

Relapse > Recovery pretty easily. Heads hated on the accent but i actually dug it. He was able to bend words more easily and effortlessly. Shit sounded really dope. It also played into the darker theme of the album. Plus he didn't use the accent on the best track on the LP and probably his best since his comeback, Deja Vu.

Stay Wide Awake, Same Song And Dance, 3am all had a sick serial killer/horrorcore theme. Im not a multi obsessed fag but on SWA he spits a couple 16 syllable ones. The storytelling on SS&D and Deja Vu were dope as fuck. I remember heads complaining that he was just rhyming random words together for the sake of rhyming. I think on certain tracks, like Underground or Medicine Ball, he went that route purposely on some braggadocious tip that he still has it and lyrically still shits on most emcees.

Only really wack tracks on it are the overly commercial sounding ones like Crack a Bottle, Old Times Sake, and We Made You. Beautiful was a cool song but it sounded so out of place on this record. That shit should've been on Recovery. If you take out those four tracks and added My Darling, Be Careful What You Wish For, Buffalo Bill, and Music Box this shit would've been a classic. Dre laced the fuck out of that album with banger after banger too.

Hello  25 years old here, been an Eminem fan since most of you have been playing pokemon on the playground. I enjoy all 4 songs so far because I enjoy them for what they are: the artistic expressions of a man who has been through more in the last 10 years than you will ever in your lifetime. You keep expecting this and that, you keep expecting some nostalgia-induced fantasy Eminem that will blow the doors off your already insane hopes as opposed to just accepting with an open ear the evolution of what is supposed to be your favorite artist.

Youre not a true fan. Youre a fan who likes an artist only for what cool songs they give you, or what songs they give you to look cool driving in your hooptie: a selfish bitch. Its a relationship with the artist, you are getting a glimpse into their life, both the good and the bad, and I appreciate (almost) EVERY song Eminem has put out. Does that mean I love them all? No, but you probably wouldnt comprehend that.

Is 2013 Eminem different? Of course he is. Do you like him? No? Then bump Tyler the Creator or the Slim Shady LP and stop whining like the entitled bitch you are.

I hated that damn accent on every track other then a few. I feel the album would have been a lot better had he done the hint of accent in a more normalized voice, see Music Box/Elevator/Deja Vu, and only done the full blown accent on 3am, Same Song & Dance, Stay Wide Awake.

I'm glad he stopped the accent though. I really hate his flow the past 2 years though. Everything after Hell the Sequel has been hit and miss, and more often then not a miss.
