My Review

[Spyder]

several people were giving me shit for my thoughts on what the MMLP2 may be like. so i figure for shits and giggles ill do my own review.

Love Game
his first verse is catchy as hell, probably the catchiest of the album. hook is weird as shit with that little girl. Kendrick has a good flow but a lot of rhymes are terrible, lot of played out things like serious delirious etc. Ems third isnt anything special, not to the calibre of the first.

Headlights
track is nice. this and another song talk about his dad, thought that was a little too much on that subject sense he doesnt know anything about him. glad he finally made a positive track about his mom, even though we all love the hate much more. Nate was nice. collab worked, didnt have too poppy of a feel.

Legacy
track is kinda boring. that crazy reverb mixing is ok for a mix of things but not feeling it. hook is boring, expected a few uncredited hooks. track could probably be replaced with a bonus.

Rhyme or Reason
like the sample. name fits the track in being that the song is random as fuck. talks about a woman in the hook, yet the verses are all completely different. good flow on this one. kmart references...fuck. "getting too stone in your glass house" good shit. love the Criminal emulation with the "emerald" line.

So Far
track is hilarious. love the homage to Im Back and TRSS. love the Madden punchline. love the Train parody, touches of country? shit was funny.

So Much Better
more singing hooks, delivery and flow is kinda boring on this one. some random screaming. dont like this one. least favorite on the album probably.

Stronger Than I Was
im trying not to hate on this because i love Hailie's Song. just dont like the "love" track vibe from Em. seems so wrong.

Asshole
Skylar isnt too large on this so thats nice. love the My Name is "Dear Dave thanks for the support asshole" reference. track is just kinda pointless though. some funny lines like "get lost Waldo" and "Its apparent i shouldnt have been a parent" a point to Who Knew

Bad Guy
really weird beat for the first part. Chorus is nice, better than the Legacy hook. the "reach my full potential... i peaked" line was horrid. the Mathew/Stan thing was great. and showing some say he named it MMLP2 to sell more. also love the "chauvinist pig drove in this big lincoln" reference.

Brainless
LOL at the Superbad clip. beat is cool on this one, drums loud as fuck, flow is nice. Like the hook on this one, really catchy.

Evil Twin
glad he finally puts fans in their place saying Shady and Eminem are the same lol hook is really catchy again here. good track.

in all. Berzerk had us assuming this would be a pure rap album, after you get pas that. this album is nice. im interested to hear the bonuses and replace them with the lesser tracks. prob make a great album. this is filled with really shitty or pop beats. thats the major flaw. Em had some nice lines, and some corny lines. wish he collabed with some more rappers. ill give this a 7.5/10
just over Recovery, deff above Relapse. cause i stray from the forum in views on Relapse. expect for tracks like Buffalo Bill and maybe Elevator which were technically Refill.

in all. album much better than the singles. but nowhere near his first 3... of course.

Almost everybody on the internet agrees that Eminem's first verse on Love Game is one of his worst verses ever, the rest of the song was much better and his last verse is incredible.

and So Much Better is one of the highlights of the album tbh
