He said something about being a mixture between Tyler the Creator and Violent J. Which is funny, since Em has met Tyler and and had beef with ICP. I think he was trying to just say how insane he is by citing other horrorcore artists.

I agree with this, you can clearly hear it in some of his older songs. But he didn't want to be compared to them(since they get no respect from rap fans) , and that's why he started the beef. It's long since dead now, though. I thought the three ICP references on MMLP2 weren't disses at all.

Yeah, but it was more a reference than an attack. He was using them to diss some fictitious ho that was "attracted" to him. I don't know, it didn't feel like an insult since everyone else has already mocked that and ICP themselves have said they find the attention to that line funny. It's not hard hitting, anyways. Not like the first MMLP heh.

There's that, plus the fact that when he was doing shows for Slim Shady E.P, he was passing out flyers saying ICP would be at the show, and handed one to Violent J, where he then asked Violent J if he and Shaggy would perform at his show, Violent J got mad that he already advertised ICP on the flyers before even asking, so Violent J said no, thats when Eminem started his beef with ICP

If Eminem really did not like ICP he would not have wanted them at his first show
