"Headlights" - Huge Xmas Song?

I don't know if this was an intention... but this song makes me think / feel Christmas.

Musically... it's gorgeous. Sorry to use such a faggy word but it is, and I can't believe I'm saying that about an Eminem song?

It also feels like for maybe the only true time ever - the musicality of one of his 'emotional tracks' TRULY matches his elevated emotional state / words. It feels big.

I'm not much of a great analyzer of music itself, but it's maybe the pianos... ? It just sounds like Christmas. And then the theme of making up with family...

I reckon this will be released as a single, and be a huge Xmas single.

Some of these songs could be ginormous and have amazing videos, and elevate this album to something even more brilliant. They all feel like musical pieces to the puzzle rather than odd ones out like singles on Em albums normally do as well. They all work.

Its very melodic i would say, it just flows nicely its an inviting melody that perfectly intune with eminems tone. Eminem shows his multidimensional grasp on music right here, for a rapper to take a john lennon style of music and be able to rap over but no sound forced or out of place shows his a multidimensional artist. Eminem has played with different styles outside of rap, but only a handful of times does it sound perfectly intune, this is such an example i also had a great reaction to this song, my heart went out to Eminem and his mother. I remember on howard stern interview very early in his career dont even think SSLP had fully dropped yet, if he loved his mom despite everything and eminem said he did, i never doubted he didnt love his mom even though he bashed her in songs, its really disheartening when i see people calling eminem soft for this song, that just show they dont know nothing but the image.

let them call him soft...then he can make us another album.

it won't be that successful overall because when the album drops on itunes it will shoot up straight high...and probably peak top 60 on billboard just from that.

and by the time they finally release it as an official single people will already have the whole album and all the people that bought it originally as a song on its own won't buy it again lol.
