"Baby" is literally some of Em's best rapping ever. I'm actually trying to catch myself tripping before I declare that it actually is his best in trying to think of times where he's rapped better but I'm struggling... it's a fucking NICE concept and would have elevated the album yet again.

After Em saying the label were trying to flip him to do Recoveryesque shit... it's so clear that 'Survival' and 'Monster' is what he compromised.

Stupid fucking label exec cunts treating art like product development again.

"Baby", and "Desperation" (replacing 'Monster') and "Groundhog Day" should be on MMLP2.

I know what OP is trying to say and I agree with a lot if it but honestly I'm just grateful to have the songs, that's really what matters. Songs like The Monster and Survival are really unnecessary when there's clearly better shit to choose from, although I don't HATE either of those songs, if it'll bring some more people to hear the album then cool.

Again, I'm just grateful to have the songs, plus all the songs are really long (as usual) and I never feel cheated as far as the wealth of material goes when I get an Eminem album.

When I realized the singing on Stronger Than I Was is from Kim's perspective, I gained a new appreciation for it. It was already a 9, now I'm convinced it's one of the best songs on the album.
