Too soon to tell ... But right now, MMLP2 is top 3 with TES and MMLP

And I always loved SSLP as much as Relapse so ... Eventually it'll either be above or below them

I wonder if that has to do with what you have been through as a person rather than the quality of a song? Headlights is going to be top 5 among a LOT of stans. It resonates strongly with anyone who has had problems with their relationship with their mother... which is the majority of Stans, go figure. All about relatable content :)

^ this, I dont have any issues with my parents and never really did. So, it's cool to see Em through the end of that story but it doesn't have any emotional impact on me.

SSLP is still just too bananas for me to decide. For now.. SSLP > MMLP2
Time will tell

Nah never been broke so it doesn't relate to me, I just choose it over Headlights, although Headlights is still an amazing song and do enjoy it very much like the next guy, but if I had to choose which song to put on a playlist if these where the last two, i'd go with Rock Bottom, great flow, beat, lyrics, just an all around classic, I don't think anything can touch the greatness of that track.

It's true. Headlights is one of those songs where depending on how much you can relate to it or not, it's on your ranking list. Though, most people rank it high anyway and don't particularly have mother issues.

Last night I had a dream it was November 2nd. Eminem appears on SNL etc, then he announces that on December 5th he is dropping The Eminem Show 2 (though in my dream it was called The Eminem Experience or something like that).

How fucking amazing would that be... any album of any kind. I am so completely happy with MMLP2. Everything I was hoping for and more, but I just can't believe this is the end!

Truth man truth. But I was more talking about other people and how they could relate to headlights more than Rock Bottom. I respect your opinion. I would never wish the problems that Headlights describes on anyone. It's so fucking raw and true and painful to listen to. It really makes me feel bad for what I've put my own mother through.

For me it's like this:

1. MMLP
2. TES/SSLP
3. MMLP2
4. Relapse
5. Recovery
...as the world turns and I keep growing older
I'll be living this hip hop till hell freezes over...

Getting adjusted to MMLP2 and the new style it brings reminds me of what it was like to get into Eminem in the first place. When I first discovered Eminem, for real, I was an emo metal kid. All of a sudden this completely new style of music was captivating me and there was nothing I could do about it. I'm getting the same vibes from this new album... and 10 years from now when Eminem is truly the GOAT (can't say for sure, but I doubt anyone will match his old stuff or MMLP2) this album will be viewed as his supernova. The finale of a star that burned so bright.
