The Monster Vs. Beautiful Pain

Postby EmIsKingOfHipHop » Oct 31st, '13, 22:36

Honestly I find these 2 tracks pretty interchangeable with one another. Which one should've made the album and which shouldve been on the bonus cd and why? i think im going with beautiful pain making the actual album.

Beautiful Pain should definately have made the album but I think The Monster is more fitting as a single tbh. (Sales and promotion wise)
TrShady is just great. A place where pompousus blowhards can connect with other pompousus blowhards, and form a vast circle jerk of pomposity.

Beautiful Pain probably, even though The Monster fit into the album surprisingly well.

They're both great songs. People get butthurt because Rihanna sang a hook for him and because the radio will actually play him. But if you took Rihanna out and put the lyrics over a harder beat people would love it.

He's basically illustrating his entire career and how it affected his personality. This is pure stan shit if you look at the lyrics.

I like Beautiful Pain more, even though I don't feel it either.

it just makes me think that the only reason they did it was because of rihannas name and expecting more sales out of it over beautiful pain...

edit: speaking of: im wondering how the monsters digital sales are going

Personally I'm glad they chose to go with Monster for the big single. For better or worse it will get a whole lot more people to experience this great album who otherwise would have brushed it off. Whether they are true fans or not doesn't matter because I think everyone should get to hear it, just for the sake of comparing it to most of the trash out today.

I like them both, and BP might've done well as a single, but certainly not as well as The Monster.
