Why does Rap Genius as well as other people think that Stronger Than I was is supposed to be told in the perspective of Kim? That doesn't make any sense, there's a bunch of lines that say it's from a mans perspective to a girl. Where did this theory come from am I missing something, also this is my favorite song of the album probably.

Question #1: The whole "up and leave" thing could be when Em was flown to LA by Dre and took off from there. Also "Left me with nothing."

There's no way it's from Kim's perspective, beautiful face? Wtf, and it's ugly and mad and even if it was ugly man, people can call girl 'man' like what's up man? Plus Kim doesn't rap "This verse I lay." It's not from Kim I don't know who came up with that. If anything I think it's the same fictional girl from Space Bound because of the date not existing and it would've been two years but she left May 1st, year and six months from spacebound.

Yeah I think It's from Kim's perspective. Also apparently Kim said that after they got married for the second time they broke up because Em just one day left and didn't come back, he'd had enough.

And yeh I don't understand that either. I want it to be, cuz it's a dope concept but I just don't see/hear it.
I think he's pretty far detached from making entire love/hate songs inspired by kim. Different women became influences starting at Encore, which also presumably had the last one on it(puke, Love you more)

The rap portion is from Em's.

The singing part says

People think it references Puke.

Makes sense to me.

This album has a lot of closure, such as Headlights. A 180 from the stuff he said about his mom on MMLP.

It reminds me of an early 2000's blink 182 type of punk song. It's amazing. My friend was saying oh he's done shit like this before on the Eminem show one....but it's definitely nothing like Hallies song, only similarity is he's singing

Yeh you can tell he's really branching out with his musical interests, with all the styles and features.. which is nice. I used to be rap rap rap rap only as well years ago....its not good ...gotta broaden what you take in, when it comes to everything...news, art, entertainment, opinions.. whatever
