And the radio prolly cut off Em's first verse 'cos you know, he's simulating getting a bloody BLOWJOB.

All my friends who ain't even Pro-Kendrick think the song sounds like Kendrick ft Eminem. When I tell them to forget his first verse and listen to the rest of the song they all tell me the same thing: "yeah Eminem last verse would have been great if it was acapella, Kendrick was hilarious and cool, Em was out of place"

To be honest... Kendrick had more personality on this track than Eminem. He sounded clear, and passionate and animated. I love his verse. Hate to do it but his verse >>>

^ Like I said, we are too used to Em killing shit. Kendrick's part when the beat changed was awesome but Em flowing like God while telling an incredibly vivid story on his second verse >>>>

Kendrick fits the song more and it seems like people see it that way.

I genuinely expected Kendrick to slaughter Em on this track.. it was a concept track 1st off.. I didn't like it until I let go of what I thought I needed them to do.
2nd off anyone with half a hip-hop brain can dissect the bars and see that Eminem's second verse was ridiculous in comparison.
3rd the hotter rapper to the sheeple will get credit for the body.

Kendrick did not catch the body here.. but if you wanna trust the people who just buy hype and don't really know the first two shits about structuring bars.. Kendrick easily bodied Eminem in that case.

Reality is Em's first verse is below par

Kendrick's verse is awesome considering he was doing his Slim Shady.

Em's 3rd verse is what makes Eminem who he is.. he lays imagery, technical prowess and a ridiculous flow in a way no other rapper could.

I love Kendrick Lamar doe.

Going harder on that song wasn't necessary. Eminem last verse is indeed better but that verse doesn't fit the song.

I know Eminem first verse is highly criticized but that shit sounded more natural than his last verse.

Kendrick won and I consider Em as the better rapper, he is the one who took that song to another level

@1LynguisticMind people also think reality T.V isn't scripted and Single Ladies is the greatest video of all time. Of all time.
Doesn't mean it's true tho.

At the end of the day this shit isn't Renegade so it's irrelevant. Kendrick Lamar isn't killing Eminem in any aspect yet. He has time to but he hasn't yet.. It just isn't there at the moment. If it were a song for them to rap back and forth we could have the Renegade discussion.

And, Kendrick Lamar went just as far in flow wise.. so how doesn't it fit?
My confusion is what K.Dot did is no different than what Em does with his last verse.. Em just goes in for extra bars and is the faster rapper.

the consensus speaks for itself, It can't be wrong when we're talking about who did better on a song.

You do better than the other rapper when you can outrap him while elevating the song at the same time, you ruin the song when you don't fit it.

SMH..
The Consensus is that ILTWYL is one of Eminem's best songs ever.
By teenage girls.

The audience matters, so no, consensus, it doesn't fucking speak for itself.

I bet if we goto a Kanye forum the consensus would be that he's one of the best lyricists ever.

People need to learn to structure their arguments if they're gonna try to base it off of tangible information. Just stick to : "it's my opinion that.."

Kendrick is the better rapper on cartoon & cereal but it sounds like a Gunplay song, gunplay won.
This song sounds like a kendrick song and people mostly talk about kdot, I'd say that kendrick won.

Rapping hard for the sake of it doesn't work all the time

1) I should clarify this. I don't believe Gunplay delivered the better piece.. it was a dope verse but it didn't sound like a "Gunplay song".. I saw some "people" say that. So, I wont argue your opinion on that matter.
2) WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE AND CONSENSUS

Stop pretending like you have factual, statistical or some sort of tangible argument with that. :facepalm
