Mac doesn't pretend or act like super amazing lyricist, that's not his thing. But it's clear as fuck, well for me at least, that him linking with Earl and Tyler and that influence, helped him make a better album. BSP had like 4-5 songs I liked or could listen to. Rest was meh or crap. Watching Movies, I liked about 2/3 the album.

For some reason that review sounds more like a 3.5 or 4.

NME literally missed the point of almost EVERY SINGLE TRACK. They even missed the fucking James Holmes reference.

Everyone on KTT are raving over this album. This is simply a great album. I'm sure it'll score the highest average that Em's had since either MMLP or TES.

Ems metacritic scores have always been wrong aside from Encore.

I mean MMLP and TES scored 78 and 75......they should have both had about 15 more points realistically. They are classics.

Encore's 64 was probably correct. Relapse was a 59, should have been about 10-15 higher probably, same with Recovery, and Hell the Sequel should have been higher too.

I think he has a good chance to be in the 70's, which is good for me.

^ It'll definitely be in the 70's range, mid / high probably -- maybe make it to 80+ , I could see this album doing that. Recovery has a 70 average on metacritic.

Ya critics have really gotten it wrong with his albums, but MMLP was also pretty polarizing at the time it was released. Today it would probably get the score it deserved.

This album gave chills, talking about some classic beats only and those flashbacks at mmlp, but i hated those staccato flows at times but thats it. Tbh i didnt listen to evil twin so closely. But my fav tracks by far are Headlights(its so nice and just flawless, i love the christmas part the most, and it gives me this feeling em is quiting) and stronger then i was just the same. So much better( the hook is great. And the song reminds me of So Bad, that same funk...) so far is epic as fuck and couldve easily been a single, those references to Im Back and TRSL gave me chills. Same like the parking lot skit damnit eminem, you got me there. Bad Guy i enjoyed but the second verse flow sounded to uncomfortable for me. Overall album score: 8.5/10
