I think he'll do 900-950k. A milli is possible if the hype continues to increase and The Monster keeps getting steady increases on radio.

what kinda fuckin idiots just buy the standard edition, it's a couple more bucks for 5 more tracks, idiots. if u can afford a few more dollars you shouldn't be spending money buying music.

i'd love for him to do huge numbers first week but it really doesn't matter that much because I think what this album has........is MAJOR staying power.

I'm not really sure because it hasn't had a huge hit single yet like recovery did (Not Afraid, LTWYL). I'm not sure how well Monster is doing. But yes with the leak, and all the chatter and positive talk about the album , it's definitely going to do well, and it's Eminem. I'm not sure if it'll hit a million first week, it'll be close either way. It's going to sell crazy over the long-term. Headlights is the big hit single that it needs.

I buy the deluxe, but be realistic. There's a lot of casual listeners who just buy the standard edition. You'd be surprised, there's probably fans out there who don't even know about the deluxe songs yet.

I think so, can't remember. Not Afraid was a big hit too. MMLP2 hasn't had a #1 single yet -- though Monster just got released, so who knows there. Headlights will be huge.

I really think Em is going to come close to 1 mill. His four singles from MMLP2 are number 1, 3, 4 and 10 on iTunes right now. Let's all support and buy this album Tuesday.

Well, Interscope's official prediction is 750k, and usually they're relatively conservative in their estimates.

"The Monster" is blowing up on the radio (has gained ~6 million each day), and is predicted to sell somewhere around ~400-450k in the US alone. In addition, Em currently has 4 songs in the top 10 on iTunes.

--> Several factors do indeed indicate a good debut. On the other hand, album sales in general is decreasing...

We'll see though. My prediction (from a couple of months back) is 700-900k.

Can someone confirm that deluxe copies count as a double album? Where is the source for this?
