Overly Dedicated is a great mixtape.

Section .80 is a really dope underground type album, a lot of his fans now still don't know that one shockingly. I remember bumping Overly Dedicated telling my boys that Kendrick was going to be THE NEXT BIG THING.

Good Kid Maad City is a classic, Kendrick really delivered. It gets harder every album though. So we'll see what he does on his next. I love how Drake's faggot ass was kind of taking a slight shot at him saying it was one album and how he has 3 that are all consistent. Yeah Drake.....but his album is really actually a hip hop classic. Your shit is sang to a bitch at least half the time, with simplistic rhymes, and singing.

You know whats the difference between eminem and other great rappers?
His longativity.
Em came 1999 in the game and he ist still here.
He was 2000 at the top of the game and now 13 years later 2013 he is still one of the best.
Em, Jay-z and nas are the ONLY one with that longativity.
I mean 2003-6 the game and 50 were at the top, 2006-9 T.I and lil wayne were at the top.
2010 Kanye was at the top. But NONE of them is still near the top. They all kind of fall off.
But em he is STILL here.

And now the wuestion:
Do you think kendrick will still be at/near the top after 13 years?
I dont think so.
Jay-z is the best!!!!!

Kendrick is def the only one that stands out an the moment as far as pure rapping but the difference between Em and a lot of people that have fell short is the fact that EM lives breaths sleeps eats and shits Hip Hop and he seems to have a never-ending quest to be the best and remembered as one of the greatest and as far I'm concerned he has already done that in his career…If he were to retire/bow out from the game I would be very very sad however I would not be disappointed and yes there is a difference...

Kendrick won't be the next Eminem, but he's in the path to become one of the GOATs. He already have 2 great albums.

It's funny because the biggest Kendrick hater said the same thing on bx a few days ago. his rapping style and his movement are definitely influenced by pac

I'll preface this by saying I have for a long time hated Kendrick's trolling ways. However, recent events have made me appreciate his tirade.....Yes, I'm from NY

Kendrick for a long time has been standing up for Black folks and protecting our image and consciousness through his lyrics and videos. Most recently, standing up against the clothing brands making billions off of our culture while giving zero back. His attack on these other rappers and their worshiping of said brands was right and needed.

What Jay Z is showing us is exactly what KL is going against. These rappers might be famous but that will never change their color nor will it change how a lot of White folks look at us, still....What facts is Jay waiting to get? Were Black folks unjustifiably stopped? Yes. Has this happen to White folks? No. Is it clear that these kids were stopped for shopping there while Black? Clearly.....

Kendrick Lamar is the closest we have to 2Pac. Peace

At the end of the day, Eminem is Eminem, Jay-Z is Jay-Z, Tupac is Tupac, and Kendrick is Kendrick. Only limits people have are the ones they placed on themselves. It's not impossible for a rapper to have the same level of impact as Em had. I don't believe for a second there's NOBODY in this world that could eventually reach heights Em couldn't touch, with the right requirements.

There are so many other rappers who had already 2 great albums but arent consinderd as a goat.
I think in 2-3 years no one will talk about kendrick anymore.
I rember 2 years ago erverybody was talking about kanye, how great he is, that he is a genius...but now he fell off.
