My Short MMLP2 Review

Postby LEVITIKUZ » Nov 2nd, '13, 18:36

This is to Eminem what Life Is Good was to Nas. Instant classic. Without a doubt, Eminem's best album since The Eminem Show. I'm as pleased by this album as an Eminem fan as I was by Life Is Good as a Nas fan.

Only got 2 problems with it. One I'm a little disappointed No ID didn't produce any tracks since he worked with Slaughterhouse and he said he was working with Eminem. Would have liked to hear a Eminem No ID produced track. Second problem is during the Parking Lot skit, Eminem shoots a dog and kills the dog. I don't have a problem with Em doing that but recently my dog passed away and I just don't want to hear a dog dying on the album you know? It's more of something I don't want to hear right now than something I'm mad at Em doing.

I give it 5 Jesse Pinkman Price Is Right excited gifs, out of 5.

I probably wouldn't have mind it but since my dog died recently, I just don't want to hear stuff that includes dogs dying you know? I did notice that "Criminal" line nod but again, it's more of a personal thing.

And even if the others don't admit its a classic, I will stil enjoy it as much as his first 3 albums.

Yes Eminem is officially back. I liked Relapse and Recovery but this was so much better.

Yeah but it's not really about a dog dying.

The humour / point of it is about Em's spite; what's supposed to be funny is how Em would so frivolously waste life and why; because he's spiteful / it just illustrates his evil disregard.

I think the source of the humour is important, and the source of that isn't the dog dying.

I know that it's a continuation from where MMLP ended but I just can't listen to that right now. Maybe in a couple of months I can listen to the Parking Lot skit but it's just too soon. I don't want to hear something that has the sound of a dog dying since my dog died recently.
