MMLP2 x SSLP

It's too early, maybe. But someone did the Relapse x MMLP2 poll, so this one joins the discussion now.

I would rather be listening to MMLP2 right now.

But that's partly because I've obviously played the total fuck out of SSLP due to the fact it's 14 years old and I know the songs like they're part of my DNA...

But despite that, there's no question SSLP is a more realized vision and Eminem has more of a purpose in what he's doing, and why he's writing.

C'mon guys...I think MMLP2 is amazing, like...really really good, but SSLP is what made everything possible. You just don't seem to understand how fucking good it was/is.

Probably it's just the hype. This poll should be made again in like... a year.

While some of the tracks on there are some of my favourites I skip a portion of songs like My fault, cmon everybody, I'm shady and If I had. For me these tracks are forgettable as fuck and not even that good. I do skip some songs on MMLP2 too, but mostly because I've overplayed them. Talking about the singles.

I'm actually sure that I will rate it above SSLP a year from now

The only tracks from SSLP I'm still bumping are Guilty Conscience, Rock Bottom, Role Model and SDGAF. This album seems to be outdated for me. I can't say that this album is the same classic as MMLP and TES. So I'll go for MMLP2

Sure, but just because it's brand new doesn't mean I will change my opinion of the album in a year just because I've "overplayed" it or shit like that. I might change my opinion on some songs but my opinion on the album will stay the same. I always felt like that even after Relapse and Recovery dropped.

I don't listen to SSLP often, I've already heard MMLP 2 in its entirety more than I have SSLP in its entirety tbh. So I honestly pick MMLP 2 because I enjoy the music much better.

I know SSLP is great and it's a classic album but not my favourite one. I like MML2 better but I would rank them in the same place just because of what SSLP is and represents.
