Your Biggest Shock from MMLP2 First Time

Postby TotalEminemFanboy » Nov 3rd, '13, 22:44

We all have that one moment when we first listened to MMLP2 for the first time when we suddenly were like "WOAH!" Whether it be a moment that made your jaw drop in awe, or one that got you shivering due to the sheer emotion and nostalgia, what was it for you?

For me, there were actually 2.

In Bad Guy, when it was like "Eminem killed by Eminem, Matthew Mitchell..." I was like WHAT!?!?!??! It was Stan's brother?!??!! But yeah hahaha that line really got me.

And then that entire first Headlights verse... damn I did not see that coming. It actually made me tear up a little bit. :'(

Bad Guy, Love Game and Headlights were my shocks. In that order.

Headlights and the Bad Guy epilogue.

It's funny because at first I thought when he said "Eminem killed by Eminem" I thought he was saying Eminem was killing off Slim Shady...pretty surprised when I realized it was little Matthew.

Oh yeah! That was way back when the Rap God single first dropped, and I was just rockin' out to it and then he was like "COLUMBINE" and I was like "ohhhhhhhh THATS what he censored before!" Hahaha I felt kinda dumb afterwards but the fact he said it now just made everything click for me.

The biggest shock for me is that Eminem delivered one of his best albums this far into his career. I have never felt more fulfilled by music. The fact that he can keep it up this long in the game gives me hope.

When the beat switches to im back and he starts rapping about the kitten. I don't know why but that moment for me is so fucking holy and every time I dont want the beat to switch back.

It's just me, you and the music now, Slim
I hope you hear it we are in a car right now
Wait, here comes my favorite lyric
I'm the bad guy who makes fun of people that die
And hey, here's a sequel to my Mathers LP
Just to try to get people to buy
How's this for publicity stunt? This should be fun
Last album now cause after this you'll be officially done

The biggest shock for me was fact that he released fourth classic. I didn't expect that. I thought it will be on the Relapse level.
