Guys, if six months ago we had just a third of the news we're having now we would be going nuts.
I know many people who are active now signed up after Survival and and even more after Berzerk, so maybe they don't really know what TR is like when Em isn't under the spotlight.
We were fucking starving.

Every time some random rapper said something about Em we would've had a five pages thread where we would be discussing about absolutely nothing.
And when we had a tweet mentioning a possible collabo which involved Em we would just go crazy for a few days talking about a track that probably didn't even exist (yes, Big Sean feature, I'm looking at you).
We would be judging every bit, word, and rhyme of any feature he would put out, knowing already we would be disappointed after hearing the actual song because we were expecting the best verse of all time (*cough* *cough* Numb *cough* Here Comes The Weekend *cough*).
When My Life dropped we all convinced ourselves Em had killed the verse and that it was the best song ever just to make our Stan hunger die a bit. That verse is a Recovery left over, let's all face it. We didn't want to admit it then.

WE WERE FUCKING DESPERATE!


I don't know if anyone fully realizes what we're experiencing, I probably do because I joined the forum in August of 2012, when Em was a ghost and didn't show his face in public or even let us hear his voice for months, but just in the last five days we've had an album, a snippet of a special track which full version can leak at anytime, four interviews, one performance, another one coming tonight, one "making of" of a song tomorrow, a few new pictures and tons of people talking about him.

Em is fucking blonde again! We have the fucking Marshall Mathers LP 2! We have the fucking sequel to fucking Stan! Guys, this is fucking history in the making!
My thread about another rapper (even if not really relevant) dissing him got fucking locked!
That would've never happened a few months ago.

I guess for older members this is just another regular album cycle, but for me and many others it's a new experience, and I want to live it to the fullest, since in some months Em will disappear again and who knows when and if ( ) he'll be back again.

I feel you man, this is my first album cycle too. I signed up during what I would like to consider the "dust bowl" of information.

As a sidenote, I'm happy that I actually enjoy this album. Like, when Monster came out, I was really, really skeptical. But I literally love every other song on the album we hadn't heard yet. I was starting to regret getting the deluxe pre-order package too; now I'm fucking pumped. Thank you for delivering Marshall.

I feel exactly like you feel.
I hated (and still hate) The Monster, but since the whole album leaked, I loved it. I'm just happy Em gave us what we wanted and lived up to all the expectations.

This place used to be busy almost all the time, whether Eminem was releasing stuff or not. Summer of 2010 was probably my favourite time period, since not only was it full of posters but Recovery was coming out too.

That being said, having a bunch of newcomers who just wanna do nothing but suck Eminem's dick and contribute little else populating the site isn't necessarily a good thing.

I'd say around the time of Em's 2009 freestyles and "The Warning" up until June/July 2010 was amazing.

Yeah man. I wonder how this place survived from when I joined up to 2008. There was very scarce Eminem news from 07 to late 08. I think that's probably why there was a lot more original content being created.

I still remember when We Made You came out

Early 2011 was pretty entertaining as well, with the whole Koolo situation and the leakage.
