Em's clothes?

I may be reaching but the second I saw the rap god performance I thought of his clothes from the '99 Rap Olympics.
Do you think it was on purpose? because in all honesty the hat didn't make sense with his blonde hair unless he was throwing it back to what he used to wear. It'd be fitting considering the song is a throwback in a way to when he would spit for the sake of being lyrical.

Then again it maybe me seeing shit.

Normally I'd say no...

But Em seems to be more dramatic than usual lately... in that... well, take the "Survival" video for example - he seems to be inhabiting looks and 'themes' to suit the song concepts.

On the "Berzerk" performance and in the video he's dressed to suit throwback... and for "Survival" he's dressed military style...

So actually yeah, I don't know about an exact reference to this, but I do think he intentionally dressed in this kind of way for "Rap God" as apposed to it being coincidence / random.
