I'm losing brain cells reading some of these reviews. You'd think some of these people didn't even listen to the songs.

I'm going to have to write a sorta anti-review because some of the idiocy these "music critics" spew all over the internet deserves a response.
It's quite obvious at this point that they haven't the slightest fucking clue what they're going on about, and the ones that seem to have a clue just can't seem to get over their bloody feelings or set them to the side to do their fuckin' job, which is to judge an artist's work without any bias.
The number of reviews that have been tainted by the critics own personal likes/sexual orientation/fucking pet-peeves is, quite frankly, alarming. And this is who we put our faith in? People that think Pink Friday is a better album than the fucking Eminem Show? Really?
We have Twitter, we have twititions, we have several articulate members here on this site, the most popular Eminem fan-forum on the web, we have great traffic, especially since we are in the days of an album release.
We have no fucking excuse to let this idiocy stand.
Sorry for rant, I just woke up.and I'm irritated.

AV club counts, so there's a 75.

Oh and Toronto Sun doesn't count and neither does the edmonton thing. Not for music metacritic.

""A disruption to that fun is an unfortunate return to the homophobic streak of the first “MMLP,” with a wealth of slurs that landed him in hot water the first time around. Em knows better ""

'knows better' , as if he's not ASKING for this reaction...

I can't believe they say 'knows better' like it's a kid making a mistake... he's fucking PROVOKING, intentionally... wow, I can't believe that I haven't read a single review/critic yet who understands what he was doing 13 years ago, and is still doing now.

How do these people get dressed in the morning? Fuck me.

"One theme that runs rampant through the album as a whole is his revelatory decision to place blame on his father for his messed up childhood and not, as many have heard for years now, his mother."

Why hasn't any other reviewer picked up on this yet? Good review by Popmatters.
