'I'll be 40 before I know it...

Postby EminemBase » Nov 5th, '13, 09:46

I can't believe with all the references that Em did not reference this line.

I know it's obvious but seems like... how could you NOT reference that, it would be so pivotal of a line to reference given the reality that he's passed 40 now and he actually made a 'sequel' to the album this line was contained on... at 40...

Crazy that he didn't use this line somehow.

Time taught me that Em never does things we expect and that seem obvious.

Even though another emotional collabo with Rihanna, with an obvious sound, was super obvious?

"Survival" is also obvious given what we heard on Recovery.

Em does do things which are obvious... this line was obvious but he could have flipped it in an unexpected way.

Nobody expected a Rihanna feature and survival(even after its release n before tracklist was out) in an album titled MMLP2....not obvious.

Plus no real fan expected a MMLP2.

Quite a few did actually, I did.

Not because I would expect that on MMLP2; but because I didn't expect too much of a departure from Recovery due to the fact it was such a huge success.

I know others who felt the same, and we were right.

"Survival" and "Monster" were obvious.

No they weren't.
I would explain my point but I can't, I'm at school.

So even though Em finds a single formula and usually always carries it across to the next album, just updating the style slightly...

A rock-infused pump-up track with a spacey slut hook, after Recovery and BME... was NOT obvious?

And, after the gigantic success of again, a spacey slut hook but specifically Rihanna, with harsh, personal verses... 'Monster' wasn't expected or obvious either?

I don't know what planet you guys are on, but these were extremely obvious singles.

They both sound closer to Recovery than anything else and use the Recovery template.

Maybe he referenced it in some of the tracks that didn't make the album.

You mean like "Survival" and a 4th Rihanna collab for an introspective single with a spacey hook?

Yeah bravo. Really broke the boundaries of predictability with that shocking art.

You mean like any other generic single he's ever made?

Way to pick out the singles to bash. And they are both pretty good.

Em was creative top to bottom with this album.

Just throw all his shit in the trash and go sit in a dark corner.

I'm sure you'd just write a 500 word post about the corner not being dark enough.

Nah, I like the shit.

Just because you're a retard who can only LIKE or DISLIKE lmao and can't comprehend any level of liking something but still finding it predictable...

I'm just arguing wit you because you're responding like a douche. And are a douche.

And it's fun to make a douche look even more douchey. Now go kill yourself.

I find it ironic that someone who makes the same threads over and over is complaining about someone being predictable.
