This was his answer to a guy asking him "why are your songs about your upbringing so upbeat when they used to be dark" on the fan interview thing.

There was also a question about how has hip-hop changed since Em's beginnings and he answered with

"The lyrics have been consistent"

Like WTF?? The hell is the point of these interviews if all he is going to say is "Yeah man, I, uhh, try to, uhh, innovate every, uhh, time, uhh, as far as rap goes, uhh, drake and wayne are dope, uhh, i'll talk about nothing to make it seem like, uhh, something, uhh, and sometimes imitate other rappers, uhh, but i wont comment on my ehh flow lately"

He didn't even bother to discuss Headlights because he said it was "too personal"...then why in the FUCK did you put it on the album?

It's really not stupid, Sway shouldn't ask such a gossipy questions about the song, he could have asked about Nate collaboration and how that came about, the writing process or whatever.

Is it really THAT hard of a concept to understand? The dude's been through a lot, he's in his 40s and almost died. He understands that drug addiction is a disease and now sees the problems his mother had.
