Man I'm from Denver, I was here in the midst of all that shit, although it happened in a suburb in Littleton. I was in high school when Columbine happened, and it was the one that really started it all.

But the fact it was little fucking kids would have been MUCH worse for him to say. I do wish he'd gone there, just to see the reaction and eventual shit storm.

I thought that fake line about the coloring book that was circulating a couple months back was humorous, but I'm ultimately glad he didn't say anything about it because there's enough controversy already. I thought I wanted Eminem to be seen as edgy and controversial again, but it's just fucking tedious and irritating. It was fun to see Em earn the wrath of nutjobs like Tipper Gore and Lynne Cheney. These PC types today are such dull people that there's no fun in annoying them. It's just boring.

If you were in elementary school when Columbine happened, I find it had you could process or understand the heights of his controversy from 1999-2002, given you were elementary or middle school at the time. Being in high school, seeing the effect he had on people and teenagers growing up, man you'll never see something like that again.

There will never be an artist that came and took the fucking world by storm the way he did, never again. It was like the perfect storm.

People were whining back then too, you just didn't have the forums and internet blogs to read them all the time like today.

Still though, the reviews have been mostly positive. When Eminem is scoring in the 70's on metacritic, you know he did good. His classics score 75 and 78.

I think everyone was expecting an Aurora shooting reference.

If Em really wanted to create a shit storm, he should have said something about Sandy Hook. Had he said something on Evil Twin about that, something like gimme a dirty stare or look, bitch I'll be up in your house, shoot that shit up like sandy hook.

I mean not that line exactly, but had he said something about Sandy Hook, which was even worse than Columbine and Aurora theater shootings, he would have caught hell for that.

I don't agree with that. You can't say one mass shooting is worse than the other. What, because they were kids? It may be more taboo, but it's not worse than Columbine or Aurora. Columbine is still the one that disturbs me the most personally, but that's probably because I'm only a couple years older than those high schoolers were when they got killed. I remember being in elementary school when it happened and terrified to go to school because I thought somebody would shoot me. Anyway, my point is that they're equally terrible. The fact that most of the Sandy Hook victims were toddlers doesn't make it any more or less awful.

Actually some mass shootings are worse. Columbine was nowhere near as bad as the mass shooting I just committed all over this computer screen, etc.
