No actually he wrote beautiful when he was in Rehab.

He said in an interview that he wrote everything on Relapse after he went to rehab except the two first verses of beautiful which he wrote there. So he was sober but pretty depressed I guess.

I don't know why everyone hates this song. The first two verses are awesome, this song really made me sad when it came out. That's also what I like with Eminem. Ok the chorus is meeh but the song is good anyway.

And it is the only moment on the album where he sounds like old Eminem.

Em on MMLP2 is really good.

Em on Relapse is AMAZZZZING.

And MMLP2 Em is not better than prime Em.

I think MMLP2 is easily better than Recovery, and if not for the last 3 shit tracks on Relapse... I would say Relapse is 100% better, but I can't get them flaws out of my mind. MMLP2 has "Survival" and "Monster" but they're not as blatant, and they're still good tracks/corny, but good. And kinda fit.
