Oh but we like an album they don't like...we're lying to ourselves, isn't that obvious? I mean, Yeezus fans obviously know what real hip hop is. We should listen to them.

The truth is the album is decent and at times enjoyable. But not good enough for someone of Eminem's caliber and that's really how I feel. It's not a knock. It's a compliment. I'm complimenting what he is capable of. Be honest. Given that this was the MMLP2, was this everything that you ever wanted? Do you feel that Slim gave it his all? I don't. You guys are butt hurt that not everyone digs it.

Not butt hurt at all. Just can't take someone with bi-polar disorder, or multiple personality disorder serious. I have listened to em from the very start, and if YOU can't realize that he's NOT THE SAME PERSON as he was back then, then it's your fault for expecting something else. He's a grown man with a family, of course he's not going to be exactly the same. But, that said...I still have a hard time finding any MUSICIAN of any kind that rivals ems skill, and ability to write kickass songs like him.

If he's grown as a person, he should grow as an artist. Rap is not for grandpas.

If you can't see the growth and progression as an artist and human being at the same time then I just don't know what to tell you anymore. FFS

And saying rap isn't for older rappers is fucking stupid. Sure, guys like Em and Nas will never top their prime, but as long as they can still make music that their fans enjoy then why stop ? I mean, look at rock artists, they are still doing ti with 50+ .. age shouldn't be a reason to retire.

Wait I don't get it. You want him to be old Em but grow up at the same time?

Ahem, that's what MMLP2 IS, you inbreed ingrate. He is still Eminem but he's doing it in a more mature way. How a 40 year old man should be telling the world to "fuck off."

This is the best he could have done to satisfy all his fans. He's damned if he doesn't go back to his old style and he's damned if he does. It's either "Slim Shady? You're 40 years old man!" or "Go back to the old you Em!"

So which one is it? Do you want mature or do you want Shady? Or do you want a mix? Because a mix is what we just fucking got.

Couldn't have said that better myself man. If people of all entertainment professions started retiring at 40, we would miss out on a hell of a lot of good music, tv, movies, games etc. To say that someone should quit because in YOUR opinioin, they haven't returned to form of their older stuff then you're just dumb. Did you ever stop and think that ok, maybe you don't like his new stuff as much, but there are TONS of people out there who enjoy the new stuff more than the old stuff. I'm not one of them but if there are still people that can enjoy and connect with it, then why should someone quit or change?

Being an artist is about expressing yourself, and face it, Em at 40 is a diff person, in a diff place in life than he was at 20-30. The fact that the man can still make music with as much energy and influence as he does is a feat in itself. Sure he may have toned down a bit, gotten a little softer but what grown person doesn't? And if you don't, then you're probably not reading this due to being in prison. Just enjoy what time we have left with arguably the greatest artist of our generation, and stop nit picking so damn much.

Do you even, or have you ever had a girlfriend? I'd be surprised if you do/can keep one with all the whining, complaining, nit picking, and bitching you do. Not to mention that your opinion and personality seems to change hourly. (rant @hopsinshadie, not notalius)
